Course Curriculum Overview

Basically bcom honours is related to finance and basics of business.This thing only influenced me to choose this course. Teachers are very good in their way of teaching and I don't think there is a need to change that. Exams are held before 2 months of externals exams.

Internships Opportunities

Companies come looking for different roles like marketing,finance ,sales ,human resources etc . Every year college organizes internship fair for 2nd year students to ease them to get opportunities for internships.

Placement Experience

From 3 Rd Year students become eligible for campus placements. And before that in 2 nd year students become eligible for internships and even the college organizes internship fair for 2nd year students.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college got A+ rankings and is one of the best colleges. The total estimated fees of our course is 4 lakhs . There are many societies for development of students which give them real experience of working.

Campus Life

There are many management fests held in our college organized by different clubs of our college. There are many clubs in our college like entrepreneurship club , eco club , literature club , dance club , finance club and many more.

Admission

The admission was very smooth. The faculty helped me at every step of admission. They told me every step for admission. The exams are held in between the semester period and are of good level in difficulty.

The faculty is very good. We can talk and ask for help whenever we feel like. They are always ready to help the students. They are well spoken and well qualified. They sometimes go an extra mile to help their students in problem.

A quick view on Dyal Singh College Morning, DU

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was preparing for CA also that's why I opted for Bcom, rest no other factors. But the curriculum of the college was best. They covered our whole syllabus on time. Everything was just perfect. There's semester system at my time. Every year we have 2 semester exams and you can clear the exam if you have studied everything your teacher taught. Examination level was moderate only.

The curriculum itself is offered under delhi University is the biggest pro of this college I liked the aspect that it tries to capture the essence of holistic development by introducing skill enhancement courses, value addition courses and ability enhancement courses It also facilitates dynamic learning experience by offering the courses from different departments such as general electives I still believe that there is a space for improvement in the applicability of this course in the real world as the world is growing at a fast paced and we need to prepare ourselves with everything we can Intership opportunities, live projects of certain subjects , increased field trips and introduction of ai courses Frequency is good ,1 per semester which helps students to take on different ventures also and the difficulty level is mixed depending upon the subject but ranges from moderately easy to difficult

I would say genuine

Course Curriculum Overview:

There's no such specific aspect to be very honest, I was clear since my 12th standard only that I'll be doing BCom hons in my undergraduation. The core subjects provides you valuable knowledge for sure but there's nothing to learn from AEC, SEC and VAC subjects (they are useless). I think teachers should start focusing more and like in my 3rd semester, there are 2 teachers for each of my core subject, this should be eliminated because it creates confusion among students. Exams usually ends in 1 month and mostly my exams were in the morning shift which is 9:30-12:30 but it gets difficult during winters to reach to college on time and sometimes you have to wait too for 20-30 minutes outside for the gate to open.

I chose the bcom course because of its well structured curriculum that covers fundamental aspects of commerce, including accounting, finance, taxation and business law. Exams are conducted in every 3 months of semester. Exams paper are moderate to hard not so easy.

Take admission if you wanna graduate just to get a degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think there's too much unnecessary subjects given in the name of VAC and SEC and AEC becuae the options are completely irrelevant to the course. I'm a bcom student why will I study political science or hindi. If it's important to have these many subjects then give us subjects which are relevant to our course. There's mandatory EVS subject too and I think I have learned all that thing already in school so there's no need to study that.

Ethereal experience at TIPS

I applied for IITM in Janakpuri and Maharaja Agrasen I could get admission in these colleges but I chose TIPS because the crowd and IITM is not good and Maharaja Agrasen is very far away from my house so I ended up taking admission in TIPS as it is close to my house. I got rejection from Maharaja Surajmal as my rank in IPU CET exam was not up to the mark to join Maharaja Surajmal. the admission process of my college was smooth, I gave the IPUCET exam which is held by the Indraprastha University after the results we have to make a priority list for the colleges we want to take admissions in.
