Course Curriculum Overview

Well the course I have choosen is not that popular among the job community. So I have less opportunities than other courses. My humble suggestion is to join MCA instead of msc as it don't have any value in the job market.

Class Size: 45Course Fees: INR 66000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

For the students who get scholarship, for them the fee will be 33000. But for the management quota the fee will be 66000 excluding hostel fee. The fee is so high in this college. Only it reasonable when they provide placements to students.

Campus Life

The best thing about this college is that there is no ragging among the students. So obviously it is a peaceful life for the students. And when it comes to cultural activities , this college is one of the best.

Hostel Facilities

College hostel is available for this college. It has separate rooms for every 3 students. It is very spacious. And the food is also good. They maintain their surroundings very hygiene. The hostel fee is 4000 per month. The only sad thing is the strict timings and strict warden.

Admission

You have to write and get the min score in the PGCET exam. Then only you will be qualified for the admission process. The admission process is very easy. You can search in official website of PGECT. There you can find the colleges list and fee structure.

Faculty

The faculty is good and the teaching was also good to mark. Lecturers are very friendly with students and they also encourage students to apply for different competitions and events to participate. They always available for students and students can approach them easily.

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 3rd semester. Companies from IT and start up will viti mostly. companies like CCC, kore - ai. Highest package around 15LPA and lowest package is 6LPA. Around 70% of students get placed from previous batch. Placement Experience:

Around 45% of students got placements in Bachelor of nutrition and dietetics course. The salary package is 5 LPA with yearly incentives to employees in the company. Internship from hospital like Kamineni and yashoda hospitals. After degree we can workbas dietician in hospitals and food Managers in food manufracture compaines.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of the biotechnology course includes all the relevant topics needed to gain information about the subject. The curriculum also includes currently developing topics of interest which may gain popularity in the future (like bioinformatics). It thoroughly prepares us for real world applications as we gain exposure to various fields of interest in the subject and get a hands-on training in the subject. Ab area i would like to suggest for improvement is to alot equal no. Of periods to different papers in the subject as each topic has its own value in the academic and career purpose. The internals are conducted every month within a duration of 1 hour for each paper. there are currently 4 internals for our batch, each of 10 marks. The externals or the end semester exams are conducted at the end of the semester approx 6 months, which are of 50 marks. 10 marks is alloted for attendance, bringing the total to 1000.

LIFE IN KGCW

The 1st thing is i got conformation from koti women's college. But i choose kasturba because of its good teaching, well equipped lab facilities, cultural events , student growth programmes etc. I didnt get rejected from any college I've applied since i scored 978/1000 in my intermediate. So the admission process for kasturba is through DOST programme conductued by government of telangana which allots seats to students in various osmania & exhibition society affiliated colleges across telanga.
