The overall environment of the delhi university north campus is very nice , there are students from multiple parts of nation which allows you to connect with them and make your own network
The faculty of colleges are very competent and good enough to provide opportunities to the students , each teacher contributes in a different way towards the students
The extra curricular activities like there are multiple societies, in which you can apply and learn new things , the society culture of DU is very good in every college

Dislikes

Infrastructure could be improved as many colleges have the same old infrastructure
Hostels for both male and female candidates can be more in numbers

As my course is multidisciplinary it allows me to learn multiple subjects which would help me in future because I would be able to choose the subject in which I would like to do masters Also it would help me in applying for foreign universities as courses there require multiple subjects There would be 3 internal test per subject it depends upon the teacher when he/she wants to conduct it

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 32000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

My course fees is 32000 , which I higher compared to other courses and other colleges Plus have monthly expenses of 15000 which includes pg and personal expenses Scholorships are given to students with a economically weaker background, also the sc/st students have some waiver in fees

Campus Life

Campus life is good you get to be part of multiple societies and groups , I am personally in MUN society but there are other societies like ncc nss enactus debating , drama etc The Library mostly contains academic books it has a wide variety from arts to science Classroms are with AC and sports facilities are decent

Admission

For my course you should have pcm in class 12 , the application forms are available on the CSAS portal , the application process starts in the month of July after the cuet exams and results ,CUET is a low level exam compared to other exams like JEE and NEET

The faculty is very good as I am a science student most of the teachers are PhD holders The ratio is also good , we are a class of 80 students for theory have been alloted 1 teacher and for practicals we have been allotted 2 teachers We often interact in classes and in labs , they are approachable

Kirori Mal - The way I see it

Placement Experience:

The placements at Kirori Mal College are respectable and are getting better. The fifth semester is typically when students become eligible for campus placements. Numerous well known bussineses like Deloitte, KPMG, EY et. Approximately 50-60% of students are placed through campus drives each year. The average package is approxiamtely 5-7 lakhs per year. After getting the degree I plan on applying for a masters degree in the same field.

The course is good but placement is very bad in the campus. The frequency of exams is 2 hours or 3 hours depends on the credit of that subject. The exam level is of moderate level. We had pass the exam studying 1 week before the exam.

A vibrant college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

as been from the science background I have deep interest in maths already, and I want to continue my passion for it. The proves the critical thinking the imaginary parts and the applications of mathematics. We see every day it motivates to think about these theorems. The curriculum of course is very good, but due to NEP, we have to study subjects like Hindi in our AEC which is very irrelevant to the curriculum and waste our four hours weekly in mathematics, we mainly deal in proof and theorem. There are very less real word applications that are being taught here. There are various areas for improvement like we can adapt the course or the curriculum.in universities like IITs,Cambridge Oxford and other big universities so that the placement and internship percentage can get improved in our college

The Life at Ramjas College.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was always interested course. It's relevant to the exams in that particular field. The syllabus for life and other exams in this field. I think that there is a lack of actual real life practice in basic courses. If could be made more aligned to what we do in real life it would have been better. The exams are easy enough to pass by just studying one month before exams and submitting the internal assessments properly. There are end semester exams which gives enough time to prepare well.

Aryabhatta College (Delhi University), a new but hustling place

Course Curriculum Overview:

i believe CS hons is a decent course. The curriculum is however, very outdated. We are being taught several topics that have no relevance these days and they arent even taught properly. I believe a far better choice would be doing BTech instead since it has a better course and companies prefer that over BSc CS. In terms of preparing for the real world, i believe this course has no use since the most important parts we have to learn it ourselves. Exams are conducted once at the end of every semester (including practical and theory). However during the semesters, there are multiple tests taken to asses our knowledge regularly

Life when you get into srcc

I am getting in srcc was purely my luck. i applied for this college because anywhere you see you will find the name of this college to be the top college in the commerce field and in every other way. i also applied for hansraj, kmc, hindu, etc but i got into my first preference. the admission process in not very complex you give cuet, score more that the cutoff, then make a preference list, and if you get into college you just have to submit the fees online on the du portal which will confirm your admission....Read More
