College review for NIT Trichy

The specialization I chose was metallurgical and materials engineering which has a good future in higher studies and we are taught about a wide range of real-world applications. The frequency of the exam timings are good enough for the students to prepare and the difficulty levels are higher for 1 or 2 subjects. But not all.

There is a specific department for the placements which is named as training and placement department where each department students will be trained for placements and internships. The number of companies that visits our campus are around 200. 4th year students are eligible for campus placements.

The recrnt tution fees and the hostel fees turns out be higher as some parents suffer a lot to pay those. The total fee amount paid per year rounds to 5Lakhs. I am part of our department symposium mettle.

The overall experience is extremely good as the students are encouraged by the college for many extra curricular activites and social and club activites. There are many student run organizations where festember is our cultural festival which is held on September and pragyan is our technical festival Which takes place in march . The facilities provided in classroom are comfortable tables and seats, projectors and green board, cupboards and table. The library has a wide range of book collections.

The hostels provided by the institute are good enough for 2 members to stay in. The water and electricity facilities are flaw less. The wifi facility is not up to the mark. Accommodation wise the hostels are good.

The entrance exam which lets you to join this college is JEE mains where the cut-off varies each year. So check the details of cut-off for previous year and expects cut-offs in Google websites. You have to register in Josaa for joining IITs and NITs.

The faculty-to- student ratio is good enough for all the departments as there are more than enough faculties for the number of subjects provided where the faculties have good teaching experience and they interact with students in a friendly manner.
