Likes
- The campus space of our college is very large,filled with a lots of greenery everywhere. Our college also has good sports facilities.
- Our college has different labs for different subjects , each of those labs have personalized instructors and facilities.
- We have a lots of clubs where you can invest your extra time and enjoy the work with other people of similar interests.
Dislikes
- That college don't give time to play sports so even if we have all the facilities we as students cannot avail that .
- In few subjects the teachers are not well educated which leads to less knowledge in class.
Course Curriculum Overview
In terms of course curriculum... I would still see a lots of scope for improvement... Our college is still teaching us many things which are not industry relevant and has been stopped using in the industry but we are still doing its pratical and learning those things ... So I think it's a clear waste of time . But rather than that the courses of labs are relevant.
Placement Experience
In this aspect our college is not performing well . It's average package is only 5lakhs which is less than the fees we are giving. So it should not be the case... Plus the number of companies visiting NIST is also decreasing day by day so the total placement is also decreasing.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes our college do provide different fees clearings measures ... Like our yearly fees is 150000. Which you have to pay within the 2 semester of the year . It's only the tution fees rather than this we have message fees and travel fees in different places . This amount also doesn't account for hostel fees . About scholarship you can get all government provided scholarship and also you can get benefits under TFW scheme if you have good marks .
Campus Life
Our college has sports facilities of all sports ... We have an indoor ground where there are 3 badminton courts are available. There is a cricket ground also available in the campus. We have a lawn tennis ground . An outdoor and indoor basketball ground too . So we basically can enjoy any sports we want .
Admission
The admission process was preety simple like other colleges... You have to give the JEE exam and then accordingly you will choose your college. Then your college will give you compherisive list of cutoff once you have cleared the cutoff you will get admission into the college.
Faculty
Upto now I have completed all the 4 semester witha good CGPA all thanks to faculty members. In our college over rally all faculty members are quite educated. Everyone has a master's degree but only the knowledge doesn't work for us ... Some of the teachers are not so great oraters which creates a problem for us ... So it's an average experience for all of us .
