The college follows the course curriculum of AKTU which regularly get updated. The exam structure is autonomous. The research facility is not up to the mark. The college gives you a competitive environment and it prepares you for the industries and further exam preparations.

The placement is excellent in the CS, IT and EC branches. From the last year students from ME, CE and EE have also got placed in companies like TATA, Hero, and L&T.

The college organizes its annual cultural fest ENCORE in full bloom. The annual sports meet Shauryotsava is also very good. Apart from this there branch fests organized by each branch and the college also hosts the annual cultural fest of AKTU Pravah.

The total fees in the 1st year were Rs 98000. It included 58000 yearly college fees. 10000 annual hostel fees. 16000 mess fees per semester and 2000 hostel maintenance fees yearly. Since all the shops are located within 200 meters from the college the transportation expenses are just nill

No, I am not applying for the scholarship because my father is in government service. Students whose annual family income is less than 2 lacs per annum are applicable for the scholarship.

The campus life is very dynamic and competitive. The college has a 100-acre lush green campus. You can spot peacocks roaming in the college premises. There is three canteen in the college where you can spot the so-called couples of the college. The gender ratio is not that good which can be observed by the number of hostels for boys and girls.

The yearly hostel fees have now been increased to 12000. There are 7 boys hotel and 4 girls hostel each having its own mess. The hostel ambiance is just up to the mark. Cleaning is done daily and the mess food is also good. AC rooms are not available.

The alumni network of the college is strong and active. An Alumni meet by the name of Convergence is organized every year. Ragging is strictly banned in the college and the seniors are very helpful.

I got admitted to the college by securing an AIR-6051. Admission is done only on the basis of merit in UPSEE. IET Lucknow is the best college of AKTU and it is autonomous. The placement has started to boom up in recent times. The admission takes place in the month of July and the college starts in the last week of July or the first week of August.

The faculty is just average. The electronic department barely has any permanent faculty. Most of the studying part is done by the students themselves. The permanent faculty is good and experienced. Especially the civil and mechanical departments have got professors excelling in their respective fields.
