Course Curriculum Overview

It is a credit system having fifty marks of Online examination and fifty marks of Theory examination and also having fifty marks of oral, Practical and teamwork. Yes, it is relevant and research driven. As it is practical oriented so we can get knowledge.

Placement Experience

Placement is good and maximum students get placed every year. These companies visit that are TCS, SM Technology, etc.

College Events

Various events are organized in our college. It also has technical and cultural event Like International Conference, Tarang, Techno meet. Also, our college organized state level gaming tournament. In departmental level organized Guest lectures and seminar.

Fee Structure And Facilities

For SC categories there is exemption in fees. For NT/ST there are around Rs.10000-12000/- fees. For OBC fees are Rs.42000/-. Open category fees are Rs.73000/-. Scholarship and EBC facilities are available. Hostel fees include Panjabrao Deshmukh Scholarship.

Filled the scholarship form for the academic year 2018-2019 from www.mahadbt.gov.in official website to avail the scholarship.

Campus Life

The campus is very friendly having playground, canteen service. Well equipped labs are provided by the college. State level competitions are organized by the college in sports such as volleyball, chess. Navratri festival is celebrated in college, kite festival is also celebrated.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, senior students are helpful in guiding in studies and various other activities. Alumni students guide for different job profiles.

Came to know by college poster. Filled the centralized form for the academic year 2018-2019. Got admission through CAP round. I visited the college and I have inquired the college. Taken admission Dated 11th August 2018 in Parvatibai Genba Moze College of Engineering, Pune.

Faculty

Our college faculties are very friendly in nature and co-operative. Faculties are well educated and ready to solve our problem related to studies and examination. They thoroughly provide us with necessary notes and important study material related to the examination.

placements start in 7th - 8th semester . Companies like wipro cisco and TCs etc visit. Average package is 4-5 LPA , and highest I could say 9 to 10 LPA .. my plans would be- if not got high paying job on campus I will try off campus too..

Placement Experience:

In my college students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester and every year many companies come for hiring. Recently companies like TCS Accenture Cognizant Hitachi JSW Group Philips Axis Bank and some startups also visited so we get both IT and core chances. As per the latest data the highest package was around 24 LPA and the average stays around 6 to 6.5 LPA for most students and the lowest offers start from 3.5 LPA so it depends a lot on the role and company. Many students get placed but it mostly depends on skills performance and branch so it is not guaranteed for everyone. I feel the college gives decent chances but we also have to do our own preparation because competition is high. If I dont get placement from campus then I will try off campus also because there are many openings outside specially in IT. Overall placements are good for this level college and since companies keep coming for drives students who prepare properly usually get at least one offer.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. My experience of iiit pune

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements once they enter 3rd year of college. Some notable companies that visit the campus is nomura, walmart, amazon, nvidia and they take 5-6 candidates each while nomura takes 15-16 per year. The highest on campus is 43 lakhs while off campus is around 1.4cr. average package is 14-15 lpa mostly for swe roles. Percentage student getting placed is 50% oncampus and if we add off campus the number goes to 80%. I plan to work in the industry for 2-3 years and then try to go for masters.

I had applied to only a few colleges which include COEP which is a Govt. college itself and the second one is MIT college of engineering which is a private college in Pune Maharashtra and the third one is my college in which I am currently pursuing my B.E degree in the fields of Information Technology. I didn't take any Quota because I'm in a general category itself. The admission process is as same as other colleges the cap rounds in which you have to select colleges according to your preferences and marks. Very good college.

I admitted through MHTCET criteria. College is not so far from my hometown. I want to regular with up-down transportation from my home. Fees are in my budget. It has good facilities and faculty. The staffs are also good. Good things- 1. The college has a big playground. 2.have a good library and labs. 3.diversity in students. 4.24 hours free wifi 5.hightech server rooms 6.facilitate mechanical workshop Bad things- 1.drinking water is not available at college you have to go to the canteen for it. 2.less trees on the ground The admission process was simple. When the merit list release you have to submit documents at the college in which you have selected for.after submitting documents you have to go through there processes based on the college system if it is autonomous or other.
