Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is pretty standard, the syllabus and topics are such that are required for any engineering student. But mind you, it the same old curriculum that's dragging from years only slight changes here and there.
Internships Opportunities
Officially internship are to be done in the summer break that happens after 3rd year. Some companies come for internship ls while other branch TRP has to arrange after contacting the specific company. Most of the internships are unpaid. Only a few companies pay stipend.
Placement Experience
Placements are average in this college. One important note to remember is that FAANG companies do not come here for oncampus placement. Still you can expect 6 lakh CTC on average. Most of the students get placed, just give your best at everything.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees in my opinion is average or reasonable, not very high like some private engineering colleges. You can pay fees online or offline in bank. You can apply for scholarship provided by state government, in that you can expect approximately 50k rupees.
Campus Life
Campus life is decent. The college is located right in the centre of the city, so location wise its a big plus. The library is there (fully air conditioned) and almost all books related to course are available. Lot of clubs are there, you can be a part in which your interest lies.
Admission
To take admission you have to give JEE MAINS. Based on JEE MAINS All India Rank you will get admission is this college. This college conducts its own counseling so you can check all the information related to it on the HBTU website.
Faculty
Quality of teachers is just average. Many departments lack teachers so guest faculty are recruited. Very few teachers are good that make you genuinely attend there class. In this regard college has a scope of improvement.
