I like campus of HARCOURT BUTLER TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY.
Hostel facilities are good and hostel is situated 4km from main campus.

Dislikes

I dont like Mess food as it is degrading day by day
Distance between hostel and campus is 4km. We have to travel a lot.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose electrical Engineering in Harcourt Butler technical university kanpur because of its reputation and the vast opportunities in this field. I think some professors should be changed as they provide boring lecture of 50 minutes.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 135000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

The fee for 4 years undergraduate program of engineering is 5,17,000 rupees. And scholarship is provided to each student every year and the amount of scholership is 55-60k for general. Academic fee is fix as it is government engineering college.

Campus Life

The infrastructure of our college is good. It is spread over 500 acres. The college has two campuses one is main (we call it east campus) and other is situated at 3-4 km distance (west campus). College life is Great and there are many clubs and subcouncils to join

Admission

I choose Harcourt Butler technical university kanpur as it is 100+ years old engineering college and now in 2024 its iirf ranking is 10 among all government engineering college of india. Alumni network is really very great and every one get placed if eligible.

Faculty

3.5

Faculty to students ratio is good and they are supportive. They are easily approachable although some are very strict. Exams are moderate. If you are sincere enough to attend classes and do assignment everything is going to be okay.

Remarks:

The infrastructure of our college is of top quality. Facilities like classrooms, Wi-Fi, labs, etc, available in our college are good. Facilities are easily available to students. The library is too good for anyone to sit and study for long hours. Teachers in our college are very helpful, and they are always available to help us. They plan the schedule in a very effective way. Many teachers are PhD holders. They have good knowledge of their subjects, both practical and theoretical. The course curriculum is relevant, and it mainly focuses on what industry demands.

Positive :- connectivity to bus stands , railway station, various Malls are there. Good social Life. Pros and Cons of HBTU Kanpur

The admission to this university was done through their counselling which is done based on CRL rank in Jee Mains. The eligibility of the course is that you must have at least 65% in your 12th class. The application form comes on their website hbtu.ac.in and appl. fee is 2500. The reservation system is also present in the counselling where we can see reservations for EWS, OBC, SC/ST.
