Course Curriculum Overview

Civil engineering aims to provide a guidance in various aspects of engineering we can take placement or can choose other government exams like GATE for enrollment jn PSUs . Timing of exams depend on two shifts either itbis morning shift or evening shifts .

There are nice placements in Harcourt butler college technological branches like paint tech, biotech , food tech . Also in core branches like CSE and CE there is. Quite good placement average package for CSE in my college is 12.8 LPA

Fees and Financial Aid

My college has course fee of 135000 for bachelor of technology alongwith if you have to stay in hostel it would be about 21250 as hostel fee and 3750 is submitted to DSW(Dean student Welfare ) as for any kind of student requirement . Mess fees is 36000 for a whole year

Campus Life

The annual cultural fest, technical competitions, and inter-campus sports tournaments create opportunities for students to showcase their talents and build strong bonds.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is nice we have triple rooms and a nice message for 2nd year and first year our message menu is quite different it had various dishes from different region of state and satisfying meals if PG rented it would be nearby college and far way from hostel

Harcourt butler gives you many aspects for preparation of other courses and involvement in clubs as well to pursue other activities besides enginnering which is quite necessary to have some time out of your hectic schedule

Faculty

Nice and helpful nature of faculty in college . In the course we have to mid semester exams and end semester exams between these both exams there are practicals of lab subjects and have mide semester 2 for theoretical subjects .

My Opinion about GL BAJAJ INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENT

Placement Experience:

The student are available for placement from the starting of the 4th year of 7th semester. There's are lot of decent companies that come to our college like TCS, INFOSYS, MICROSOFT, CAPGEMINI etc The highest placement of my college is about 58 lpa and the average placement of my college is about 7.5lpa The 90 percentage of the students who participated in the placement are being placed rest are gone for their higher studies. My planned after getting my degree is to grab a decent package from the college and started my career.

Reality of Galgotias University

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements from the 6th semester. Recently Infosys visited our college, however the average and highest package was not yet declared but we have heard rumours that the highest package is somewhat around 30 LPA. The percentage of students getting placement is around 65%. My plans after getting this degree is applying for external placements as well.

Unfiltered review and reality of My College

Course Curriculum Overview:

This criteria for choosing the college was because of placements. The curriculum Is outdated and not as per the industry requirements. In 1st year we are taught only one language and which is of no use.... That is C. But in other universities, students are taught languages like java, C++, python in their 1st year. Teachers are good. I have no issues with them but I have issues with its curriculum. Exam are taken so much which are according to me good as they prepare as for university exams but as I consider placement point of view so students do not have enough time to prepare for their placements, learning new skills as we are supposed to study for exams otherwise we will have to attend extra exams and classes and will lose internal marks. So having many exams have both benefits and drawbacks.

The rate of my branch was quite high because I am in CSE AIML and future is totally depends on it that's why i select this branch. The College provide 100 percent to you for makeing you a winning horse in it sector but you will be initiated from your side.the most bad things is In first normal classess are going on like 12 and that is not good.some extra curricular activities is not happen in this college .they should be focus on this points. apart from this college i also applied for nits , but i didnt not take admission in them since i wasnt getting a technical branch . i paid the fee for MMMUT gorakhpur for CSE branch , though it is also a great college but since that was my hometown i didnt opt that and also due to the hype that most people create of hbtu , i came here . for admission in hbtu kanpur you need to qualify jee mains exams with a good percentile to get technical branch , to just enter in the college . you can get any lower branch in 4 lac rank...Read More

Eligibility of course decided on behalf of your jee mains score and category. After the exam of jee mains the HBTU counseling portal is opened for students where they can apply and fill their desired branches and on basis of your result college faculty alloys you the branch. And you can also apply in spot counseling. The application fees is based on your category. Reservation students can get good course like IT and computer science and engineering at 90 percentile.
