Likes
- They keep up the Academic Schedule. They conduct exams at right time.
- They give sufficient freedom to the students. There is no moral policing or conventional stric rules.
- They provide excellent tutoring for arts and sports.
Dislikes
- Many teachers are qualified by there degrees but are poor in teaching skills. They cannot be replaced even if we complain due to legal rules.
- Prevailing clash between the management and the union party affects the smooth functioning of cultural activiteis
- The add on course provided is kind of scam. They charge high fees and classes are not appropriately taken.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is out dated. Both students and teachers agree with this. Commerce is a subject which should develop the practical skills and insights of a student. But our syllabus is just rubbish theory for mesmerizing.
Placement Experience
The final year students are eligible for placement interviews. Currently only SBI approach our college for placement(for commerce). The opportunity for students is very low. Most of the students go for higher studies as the employment and salary criterias are low. I plan to go for MBA
Fees and Financial Aid
Tuition for regular students is very low. But they charge exam fees which is increasing every semester. The students who have e-grants can avail fee exemption. Altogether around 20,000 is paid for all academic expense.
Campus Life
Ivank fest is conducted annualy between February and March. The library is vast but the staff support for selecting books is poor. The facilities for commerce students is very awful. We have an old shattered building with no adequate technology assistance. There is good opportunity for sports Nd extracurricular activities. The clubs provide students the space for socializing and team work.
Admission
The eligibility was based on 12th board marks. There was multiple allotment. Students require to score 95% and above. Reservations are provided. All procedures of admission except final interview is done through the college website. As for improvement, they should update and upgrade the website for smooth functioning.
Faculty
The classes of regular batches are overcrowded. It is difficult for a teacher to manage classes comprising of 80 students. The quality of teachers is also dreadful. Only a few teachers know to teach well. Others are doing the job for name sake.
