Likes

Vivekanada Institute Of Technology is really good at studies, infrastructure as well as sports department.
It had a lot of different clubs for students to participate and learn.
There were a lot of events every year to have fun.

Dislikes

The college timings, basically it is from morning 9 to evening 4.
The hostel food was not that good, so I opted out of hostel.
They didn't call up some good artists in their fests

The course was really relevant to the field of study as they taught all the basic subjects in the very first year and the moved forward with just the selected field from the second year to the last. Internships were made to do during the semester breaks.

College helped in providing a good amount of internships in the related field of study, tech internships were asked to do in the break of every semester and certificates were asked to show, it was really a good experience

The campus provides a good amount of placements with the placement training program in the 3rd year of college so that students can get some good soft skills as well as technical skills and get placed in a good company.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships were available based on the entrance exam or with the 12th board exam marks. The fee structure was around 90000/-per year. The college provides some good campus employment opportunities with good companies in hand.

Campus Life

My life is really good at the campus, because the teachers and the other staff including HOD are really friendly, they have many different clubs to take part it with different grounds for every sport.

Admission

The admission process was smooth, it took me like 3 days to make it final. I took the entrance exam in which I got like more than 75% and a good scholarship. The staff was really cooperative and helped at every level of admission.

Faculty

Yes, most of the faculty members have completed their master's in the fields they were teaching and they have some good knowledge of it with good practical knowledge of things. Students get a lot of help from these types of teachers.

Interview Experience

There was a written test for the entrance as well as for the scholarship. only one exam was there for both. and it was tick the correct and some subjected questions. There was good assistance before and after the exam.

Placement Experience:

Jecrc have average placement they show 55 lakh package on advisement and 6 lakh at average placement, but I talked with senior they say placement is not good from jecrc. But I thought have good placement in jecrc university.

Decent college for the girls

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for summer internship (after 3rd year) from start of 3rd year (5th sem) and for the placements, companies come to the college from 7th semester onwards. Companies like jo Morgan, Deloitte, Flipkart, goldman sachs , PepsiCo ,oracle,bny ,ubs , rippling etc come here for placements, some of them come for 2months and 6months internship too. Average package offered by them is 9-10 lpa , jpmc , Goldman, visa they offer till 12 lpa and it can go up for some of the companies . Most of the companies allow to sit for 6.5cgpa and above but some of them allows 7.5 and above cgpa and jpmc allows 8.5cgpa and plus as far I know till now . I am currently looking forward to work in a company and get a placement.

The course curriculum is vast and allows a student to explore all the possible options to take before deciding on one . The field of elctronics and communication engineering allows one to deal with electronics and learn all the possible tinkering with them which is a very fascinating part as all the gadgets possible today were made of them. The curriculum does satisfy this thirst by teaching about them in the class of electronics and electricals and then experimenting in the lab with them . The areas for improvement could be that if a student is interested in a specific field then should be allowed to venture that field throughly instead of sitting in every class , but that is an imrovement for the indian education system as as whole . The classes of every subject does occur frequently and and exams take place every month in a form of quiz or proper pen based exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I like computer science and I can see my future in this course. The current ratio in computer science courses is around 1:5. And we don't have technical communication teaching at present and the college is saying that they will recruit teachers as soon as possible. The student-teacher ratio in all the branches is around 1:3. All facilities are well qualified and teach well but they are not permanent and hence they may or may not be changed next year. There are two semesters in each year and an examination is conducted after each semester. The difficulty level of these exams ranges from moderate to difficult.

Totally satisfied with the teaching quality, placements and the infrastructure of this college.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. Several high-profile companies ranging from IT, consulting, analytics, electronics, mechanical, civil, and pharma come to the campus for placements. Approx 95% of students get placed with an average CTC approx 9LPA and the highest being 35LPA. I plan on working in the company I got placed in and think about my future plans later.
