As we know that Civil engineering is the oldest branch in engineering and it is demanded in government college. For placement point of view civil is not good as cse and ai. But in government jobs civil has lot of scope

Here lot of opportunities are provided through college. Inter college competition is also done regularly. Lots of recruitments companies also offer internship to third year student. The company which came recently are prism Johnson, shree cement,spark planet Bel and others.

Onwards third year student are taken interest towards placement. In cse and ai branches placements are very good core branches students also placed but they generally focused on gate and ese examination so core branches placements are not upto the mark.

As we know that IET Lucknow is state government engineering college so fees is not very high. It is 84775 per year and hostel fee is 14500 and mess fee is 19000 per semester so approximately 1.5 lakh per annum expenditure occurs.

In IET Lucknow there are lot of clubs like fractal , insaniax, swaranjali which helps a lot in social development of an individual so social life is very good and every semester branch fest also occurs and college fest is also performed in each year.

In IET Lucknow there are 9 boys hostel and 3 girls hostel. Hostel are near and clean . Food in mess is also very good and mess fees is not so high. So everyone can take hostel. All btech students get hostel and pg students gets less chances of hostel accommodation.

Admission in IET Lucknow takes place through JEE mains examination from 2021 before that it was taken through UPSEE examination. But now you have to write jee mains to take admission in IET Lucknow. Cutoff is approximately 95 percentile in jee mains is required. But in 2020 I have UPSEE exam in which I got 396 marks out of 600 and my rank was 1728.
