Remarks

Loyola has helped me shape my life and I've got to meet some very interesting people who are extremely talented and who are doing great things in life the teachers and classroom memories are etched in my head and always bring back a warm feeling learnt a

Entrance Preview

No entrance, just got a good 90% in my 12th Boards backed with some good extra curricular certificates for debates and music.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course curriculum was good, the stuff they taught at Loyola has helped me decide what I wanted to do in the future. The subjects we were offered and the electives ranged from core commerce related subjects to general studies that were useful for budding entrepreneurs as well.

Internships Opportunities

Internships were not provided as such by the college but they helped us get internships by giving us letters of recommendations.

Placement Experience

4.5

Most of the students in my batch were placed through the placement cell programs companies like Amazon, Delloite, RBS, GS etc had recruited more than 100 students in total students who were interested in working right after college could easily get placed in the numerous opportunities given for placements.

College Events

4

Ovations was the biggest intra college fest conducted at Loyola it's surely of the biggest fests in the city even though it was intracollege (between depts) Loyola also hosted many events for debates at a national level there were other events organised by students like Onam celebrations, Pongal etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

B.com had 2 shifts shift one had a fee of Rs. 500-1,000 not joking shift 2 had a fee of 18k per sem shift 1 was mostly reserved seats for quotas and shift 2 was for others so shift 2 indirectly paid for the shift 1 as well made shift 2 feel good about themselves as they're getting to help others.

Fees and Financial Aid

We did have some scholarships programs that were offered to students with high GPA there were about 15 people from my batch who didn't have to pay their entire fee cause they had scholarships from the college..

Campus Life

5

There were way too many guys compared to girls as most UG courses were boys only however there was also good, healthy interaction with the opposite sex and teachers did not make a deal out of anything. Loyola was open to transgenders as well and general atmosphere in these classrooms were also healthy to say the least. Loyola students union was a big thing and the union was very strong and always supported the students. Elections were grand and campaigns were intense and taught all of a little bit about politics and how things work. Loyola catered to a diverse range of economical statuses- shift 1 had students from villages and poorer economic backgrounds and shift 2 was filled with either extremely smart people or extremely rich students who had a celebrity status in society or business background. There were plenty of clubs like Rotract, EDC, SIFE, AISEC etc that conducted workshops and events around the city and interested students got good exposure in the relevant field.

Hostel Facilities

2

Mess food was average, cheap and clean. We also had few outlets that served really good food like bakes and snacks and frankies etc students from shift 1 could work in these canteen outlets for some extra bucks. The students could vote out a food outlet i

Alumni/Alumna

Loyola alumni conducts its meetings every year and its a very grand function were lot of ex students show up and we get to meet a lot of students who have made it big in life and they're given awards etc.

Exam Structure

We had 2 internals and a final sem Exam at the end of every sem internals were pretty much competitive, but were not too difficult and didn't require you to break your heads weeks before the exam sem exams were of course difficult, but had good amount of

Faculty

3.5

8 out of 10 proffs were extremely good well learnt and had good teaching skills some of them were so good that we're still in touch with them. They were average strict, but allowed a little bit of fun the classrooms as well. I'd have to say they were good
