What Students Say

Likes

College Placements are good and average package is also around 22 laks per annum.
Varanasi as a city is good with breathtaking experiences.
The college faculties are aslo good with knowledge in their respective domains.

Dislikes

Open campus with no restricted movements from 5 AM TO 10 PM.
Food culture around the college is not so good.
Lack of good food outlets in our college campus. Now they are coming but not at the present.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose to pursue bachelors in ceramic engineering. I didnot had any specific choice but took it on the basis of better college. In a semester there are two exams along with continuous assessments. All the activities have some weightage in the final grading.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 6500 per year

Placement Experience

The placemets of our college is good. The packages varies from 1.8crore to 8 lakhs per annum in the year 2023-2024. The average package was nearly 22 lakhs per annum. I have clear plans for my future. I want to get placed in sde or coding role then afterwards would settle down in my hometown.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tution hike doesnot regularly increase. The total tution fees varies for different categories. My total tution fees would be nearly 72k for 4 years. Along with it there is mess fees of 15000 per semester from which some is refunded at the end of the whole year.

Campus Life

The main fest of the college that is cultural fest is held in the month of January and is named Kashiyatra. There are many other fests going on round the year. Technex is the tech fest sparsha is the sports fest of our college.We have the facility of library as well as reading room in every hostel.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facility provied is good. The newer hostels are good but some others are not in good conditions. The construction of hostels are going on and at the end of this semester they will be ready. The overall mess food quality is good and better than other places.

Hostel Fee: INR 15000 per year

Admission

The admission was based on rank obtained in JEE ADVANCED.First we have to clear JEE Mainscutoff to sit for JEE Advanced. I availed the facility of reservation under scheduled caste category. First we have to clear jee mains cutoff and then fill jee advanced form. Afterwards the result is announced we have to fill for JOSAA counselling in which we have to fill our college preferences.

Form the beginning of very first year students are eligible for the campus placements. TCS, cognizant, wipro, are the some companies visited here. Highest package is 44 lpa in amazon which is off campus for software role. Placements % is quite medium if you are serious about skill then you will be get a path here to go ahead. Arround 60 to 70 is the placement % My plans after getting degree is to get a job.

GLA University Mathura is Great!

Placement Experience:

Average package at GLA University may range between 5-7 lakhs but one student has managed to get placements of 55 lakhs and that is still the record placement from GLA University campus Mathura. Around 70-75% students are placed every year but I will be preparing for GATE as my ambition are to be atleast post graduate if not a PHD.

Good for learning and Skill development

Placement Experience:

Mostly te 6th sem (3rd year) got eligible for campus placement. Amazon, Accenture, AVL India, Atlan and many others (about 900+) visited and made 4000+ offers. The ave. package is about 5.25 LPA and highest crossed 39 LPA. Above 60%+ got their placement and the persentage of students receiving multiple offer is about 32%. After degrre want to build a strong carrer and to contribute in the grouth of Bharat.

Honest Opinion on IIIT ALLAHABAD

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester, many students get into the internship and many gets further preplacement through it. The companies visted are google, atlassian, flipkart, qualcomm, samsung, phone pe etc. Highest package is 1.21CR per annum. Average package is 30LPA 90% students got placed. Private job is the plan after getting the degree. 90% students gets placed.

Placement Experience:

So entry in IIT BHU was through JEE ADVANCE. I gave the examination and got an All India Rank(AIR) of 7533. Then I had Josaa counselling where I had to select colleges according to my priorities. So one of the many colleges I filled was IIT BHU(4 Year B.TECH Chemical Branch). The distribution of colleges is purely based on your ranks. Higher rankers will be prefferd above you.
