BIMTECH: A Place Worth for Pursuing Insurance

BIMTECH PGDM-IBM program is one of the few and best program to pursue if you plan to enter the Insurance Field. The program has a placement rate of 100% and is maintaining this record for the past few years. The curriculum prepares you in such a way that after completing the curriculum, you will already be knowing most of the major parts and knowledge of Insurance Industry and makes you Indutry ready.

The companies that came for internship during my time are GoDigit, HIBIL, BAGIC, TATA AIG, Shree Ram General, Proclaim, Marsh etc. The average stipend is around 10k. Roles like claims executive and other relevant roles are provided to students during their internship.

From the fourth trimester, students would be eligible for placements and most of the top insurance companies visit the campus (Marsh, Bajaj Alianz, HIBIL, SUD Life, TATA AIG etc). The best thing about this course is that it has placement rate of 100% and is maintaining this rate for the past few years as well.

When it comes to Tuition Fee, You will be paying in parts i.e. You will be paying for each trimester. The details of the Tuition fee will be given to you beforehand (How much you will be paying for each trimester). The complete cost of education Including Accomodation, Tuition and Food would be 1500000.

There are many clubs in the campus and the campus is very lively with some or the other event always happening frequently (You will never feel like college is empty and boring). BIMTECH has its own library in a complete floor(Most of the space in second floor is occupied by Library) with various books covering major crucial subjects. All the classrooms have latest smarttech boards and ACs and features you would expect of a high-tech classroom.

The rooms have LAN portals for Internet service so you don't have to worry about not having internet. The food quality is quite good compared to many other hostels (Saying this with an experience of 9 years of staying in other hostels) and the menu is quite good as well. There is no seperate registration for hostel as if you want to join BIMTECH, you need to compulsarily stay in their provided hostel only. You wouldn't have to rent a room or PG and the hostel fee is included in total fee.

There is no particular special or required course you need to do before for taking admission in PGDM-IBM(Insurance Business Management) Course of BIMTECH but you need to have a minimum percentage of 50% in 10th and 12th and a minimum score of 60% in Under Graduation. You can find the application form, application fee and applicaton dates in BIMTECH website. There will be an Interview if your profile is selected.

The topics for GD, Interview are general Knowledge ,little know to about Insurance Field (Since you are planning on taking this course), Basic Knowledge of your Undergraduate subjects. First for the admission consideration, your 10th,12th and undergrad score would be considered and the score of the any of the following exams i.e CAT,XAT,CMAT,GMAT would be checked for the overall eligibility to take admission. If your profile is selected, then you will be selected for GD and Interview rounds.
