Course Curriculum Overview
IIFT has a unique specialization in International Business and it comes under the Ministry of Commerce which gives it a different stand so you don't just study marketing, finance, and other common domains but international business which is very important given the multipolarity in today's world.
Internships Opportunities
A wide variety of roles are offered in finance, trade, marketing, sales and others. The project depends on company to company. The legacy recruiters are JP Morgan, Wipro, Deliotte, Goldman Sachs, TATA group, Olam and many others.
Placement Experience
The summer internship placements, it start in the first trimester. More than 100 companies visit the campus for both summer and final placements. The placement is always 100 percent with all the reports available on the website of IIFT.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fee is around 21.37 lakhs including all components. Financial aid is present in the form of educational loans which you can get easily from various banks without any collateral further there are various scholarships that you can apply for once you get admission to the institute.
Campus Life
You will be able to participate in a lot of events. The most notable are Advait, Vivaan, section wars, inter-college championships, and Case competitions. You will get free access to various databases and journals including Bloomberg.
Admission
The candidate needs to have a minimum or equivalent graduation degree from a recognized university and he or she should have at least scored more than 50 percent in his graduation. IIFT has started accepting CAT scores starting from 2024 and the application form is available on the website iift.nta.nic.in. The fee amount is 2500 for general candidates. The CAT exam is held once in a year in the last week of November every year. The exam is moderate to difficult. Generally, one section in each slot is easy, another is moderate and one would be very tough.
Interview Experience
The most important thing is to be well prepared for all the general and current affairs questions, the recent developments and any hot topic. You need to have good knowledge about your company where you worked and your graduation subject.
