Likes

The infrastructure and the campus life is very nice
It is near various tourist spots such as palampur and dharamshala etc
The teachers of our civil department are very helpful and they help us in every way.

Dislikes

Hostels are not available after 1st year
Fee of boys and girls are different and it sometimes feel like discrimination.
The attendance sometimes become very big difficult to maintain.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose college because of my family background my brother and sister both have done B.tech in civil engineering from this college. So my parents asked me a join this college hence I joined this college.

Class Size: 85Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of college have discrimination for boys and girls, fee of boys is 2 times the fee of girls. Scholarships are available in our college for SC, ST and EWS students. Also some kashmir students also get advantage of PMSSS in our college.

Campus Life

The technical feast are organized time to time by college students and also by college itself sometimes The college classrooms consist of projects and digital screen in each classroom. College also have different societies.

Admission

Admission process was very smooth I got my admission on the basis on HPCET I went to HPTU for my counselling It take around 6-7 hours for my counselling I belong to general category so I got no reservation benefit

JUIT- beautiful place

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible from 7th semester for campus placement but you can apply off-campus if you want. A lot of times off-campus placements are of better amount than on campus placements. Almost out of 400 students present in a year, 100 get very good on campus placements.(Almost above 10 lakhs) 100 get between 5-10 lakhs And rest ho for higher degrees although they get a placement of 4-5 lakhs

7 semester students become eligible for campus placements. Most companies related to textile industries come for placement as it is one and only one government college in Himachal which offers textile engineering. The average package is about 6,7 lakhs Almost 30% students gets placed. My plan after degree is to pursue for my further studies

THE BEST COLLEGE AS OF MY DREAMS

Placement Experience:

after 6th semester the placements begins at NITH many Tech companies visit at NITH like Amazon , Flipcart, Paytm,samsung,oracle ,infosis etc.The highest palcement package is 1.73 crore in 2023 and average package is about 15 LPA about 80% of students got placed and also many of students opt for higher studies, i try to get placement if i get and not then go for higher studies

The real review of JUIT

Placement Experience:

Opportunities for placements are quite well. Before COVID lots of companies came for placements and post the number of companies was reduced. I want to join a company after getting my degree. I am not interested in higher studies.
