Course Curriculum Overview

I will rate faculty 7 as some teachers are very good and some aren't up to the mark .labs are good and experiments are done simultaneously.i think faculty should improve and should Focus on practical knowledge.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure I think Little partiality done for boy students as girl students pays very less fees as compared to boy students.similarly partiality is done in scholarships are given to reserved categories.

Overall expired is good enough as campus is very good .and various social activities are done in college.various clubs are formed like music club singing club sports club . various branches have various societies like our is civil society . infrastructure is very good

Admission

I went to hptu I waited for 5 hours then I got a form and opted civil course then I went to rggec and applied for my seat booked by hptu .campus was very good that's why I choose rggec teachers and faculty is also good .cut off was minimum 25 out of 300 in hpcet entrance exam .I got 114 and went for counselling

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

Awesome college

Admission:

I prepared for 2 years then cleared jee mains exam. The preparation was not hard though you need to be consistent with your studies. After the result I filled my counselling on jossa.nic.in with the priorities of colleges and branches. After that there were 7 rounds I got my seat in 6th round.
