The college provides with one of the best environment for study purposes. The college provides a no. Of Training exercises which help in day to day career building options. The options which the college has is evident in the proper building of career.

The college provides a large no. of internship opportunities from the first year of diploma that are certified by MICROSOFT and AICTE. The internships not only give work experience but also dedicated courses for future uses in placements.

Placement Experience

Students of diploma start getting their campus from 3rd yr. A lot of companies like TISCO, TCS, WIPRO, ADANI, MCL, SAIL, HINDALCO are regular appreciators of this college. The package ranges from 1400000 rupees to 400000rupees . The college has a continuous campus selection of 85%.

The tution fee is very good for an average Indian student as the collage provides with a lot of scholarship and exams which economical the student and helps in getting different goodies like laptops and different other helps.

Admission

The admission process was smooth and fast based on the matriculation certificate. The criteria was very transparent and approachable. There is not improvement need in this field as it was the best facility I experienced

The view about the college

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester and 6th semester students became eligible for campus placement. The name of company are JSW , IMFA , ADITYA BIRLA , JSL etc company are visited. The highest package is 25,000 thousand and avarage package is 12,000 thousand per company. My plans after getting the degree is preparing the junior mining inspector.

I love my college

Placement Experience:

does not have proper playground for outdoor games ,except this it has all the necessary facilities. Classrooms, laboratories, libraries ans sports arena are all air conditioned and well maintained. The quality of placements at our college is not so good. The percentage of students placed every year is quite less. The salary package offered to bcom graduates were not so good. In recent time due covid 19 we were unable to attend the placement cell.

Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology is a government college but provides much more facilities like private colleges.

In odisha we have a specific counselling procees named as OJEE counselling. In this we have to apply for many colleges as we want. So i applied for VSSUT,Burla and OUTR,Bhubaneswar and many more colleges. But i got this college (Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology , Dhenkanal) as according to my JEE main rank. Electrical engineering is a very respected branch in our college as many industries are built near this area which take students from campus selections.
