Gandhi Memorial college srinagar from my own experience

College management is satisfactory, mostly the principal of the college is much dedicated to his job.

Firstly because the college is very near to my house. Secondly its very easy to reach there because of its connectivity from different routes and availability of transport is what drove me to choose this college. The college faculty is quite good especially as I know of commerce department.

The course curriculum is quite satisfactory. It includes both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps the students to achieve the best possible in the field. More than theoretical, practical part of the course plays vital role in the overall development of the students.

Yes for those who have internship included in their syllabus. Stipend in general is at par according to the costs. It helps the students to gain actual field experience.

Placements and job opportunities are not that much as I know about this college. Because of the growing rate of students day by day its very hard to get a job today. This college does not ensure placements and job opportunities for students at any level of the course.

During a particular year many events are being celebrated in the college like Republic day, independence day, mostly the gandhi jainty on 2nd October. During these events many programmes are being held in the college. Most of the students participate in the events

Fee structure variables as per the course. For professional courses the fee is something and for friends, the fee is something else. As per the availability of facilities the fee, which the students actually deposit in respect of their courses, is feasible.

No, as far as I know there is not any type of scholarship available in the college and also there is no loan facility offered by the college to its students.

I have had a wonderful time over there. Beyond my classmates, the teachers are very much friendly who helped me both in the class and outside of it. As it is a coeducational institute, gender ratio is nearly equal of boys and girls. The college engages students in different kinds of sports like cricket, volleyball, football, rugby and cycling.

Alumni network and senior students are beyond goodness. They always help students both in the class and outside of it in every aspect, whenever the student is in need.

Exam structure : THAT'S similar to other colleges, means a written test. The question papers are set by its parent university, to which it is affiliated, and the checking of the answer books are also being done by the same university. Exams are conducted strictly.

After passing my 10+2 exams from jkbose with approx 80% marks I Had to apply there for BBA course. So I submitted the application form there in the college along with required documents and after that merit list was published for the eligible candidates. Those with highest marks get selected for admission.

As I have been a commerce student I would give my suggestion regarding that only because for being honest I am not aware of the rest of the faculty members. Commerce faculty is very good in the college as they are much dedicated to their work and are very hard working.
