I always wanted to pursue commerce. The faculty members were well educated,disciplined and always helpul to students.The exams were not tough to pass because the teacher conpleted the syllabus and provided assistance to students.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 7000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I did not get any stipend. Fees was quite high at that time.the fees hike policy was in ist year fees was 7000 per annum.2nd year fees was 8000 per annum. 3rd year fees was 9500.And also at the end of every exam there was examination charges also

Campus Life

Classrooms are equipped with modern amenties,ensuring a conducive learning environment.sports and extracurriculsr activites are actively promoted offering students a well rounded experience.overall campus provides a dynamic and enriching environment for students.

Admission

There is no entrance exam.It is based on 12th grade marks.The process involves appying for BBA course, and selection is later determined by the 12th grade marks. The cut off is almost near about 70-75 percent of the 12th grade marks.

Interview Experience

There was no GD or interview. The selection was based on 12th grade marks the admission process was to apply for the course and then selection list is determinted on the 12th grade marks. Almost 75 percent of 12th grade was cut off.

IIM Jammu is a spring breaker!

Placement Experience:

Till we are doing BBA there are no placements but from 4th year we are posted directly for MBA and then the placement eligibility starts. Average is between 10-15 lakhs and many prominent industries which we have heard of have started coming to IIM Jammu. Also, placements record were nearly 96% at IIM Jammu.

In my clg all is good and I don't think there should be a need of change , if there is any we will manage by my self . And exams are of 3 hr which is equivalent to the exam .and my teachers come from far away and I respect there dedication towards us . Thats why I give 5 star.

Spmr college: a brief review

Course Curriculum Overview:

I liked bba because I've an inclination towards business and I want to start my own. The curriculum is not very deep but is enough for you to be prepared for real life and helps you to get job. They mainly make you learn management accounting, stats, operations, crm, etc Curriculum can be more practical in nature rather than theoretical. You will be having your mid sem after 1 month of college and will be having end sem after 4 months of semester. Exams are not that difficult but the marking might be.

Miet Pros and cons

Placement Experience:

You get placement in miet. Don't expect high package in jammu Companys like hdfc icici asian paints aakash institute, bajaj finance, Reliance, TCL comes in college. But you need good marks to be eligible for college placement minimum 75% required but I am not sure

My personal experience in Gandhi Memorial College, Srinagar

No entrance examinations are held by this college. The admission process is extremely simple if you're a 1st year fresher you will have to register for KU since GMCS is affiliated with it, this process is done online after this you can easily apply for admission in the college documents needed are 12th class marks card reservation certificates (if any) character certificate (original).
