The campus is really small its just has a playground and basketball court
It is located in front of a hospital and it has lot of traffic

Course Curriculum Overview

I opted for B Tech in Computer Science and Business Systems. The faculty i got are really good and smart they make teaching easy. Thery are very experienced and willing to help whenever you call them.

Internships Opportunities

I really dont know much about internship as i am in 2nd sem and i dont have much idea about th3 companies but i know a few which offers internship like bsnl tcs. Many companies offers internship opportunities as stated by our seniors

Placement Experience

Students becomes eligible after 3rd sem. TCS is one of the highest recruiter along with ACCENTURE NESTLE and many more. Highest package is 14 lakh and average package is 5 lakh. 70 percent of students are getting placemet

Fees and Financial Aid

The good thing is that the tuition fees decrease after 1st semester and increases only in 8th semester. My complete cost of education will be around 600000 including my hostel fees. Multiple scholarships are available by the cg governmennt

Campus Life

The annual and technical fest in my college is called Samvid. Its the biggest fest in Chhattisgarh. There are over 20000 books in the library which you can access after getting your library card. We also have smart classes and multiple computer lab. SSTC has its own cricket team which is best in bhilai.

Hostel Facilities

A single room in hostel is shared by 4 people which comes with an attached bathroom. 1st year students have different hostel and senior have there own. After you rwach 2nd year room is shared by 2 people and single person per room after 3rd year. The breakfast are amazing lunch is good and dinner is the worst meal of the day

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Admission

The admission process was really smooth. Admission were granted on the basis of a pre engineering test called CGPET and also by the your JEE MAINS score. There nothing i didn't like of my admission process everything was super good. College takes exams every 2 months.

A Better One

Placement Experience:

We can do internships after 1st year and 2nd but for the placement it's in 4th year. The training and placement cell of the college has work consistently to bring reputated companies like a TCS Wipro Infosys LNT Infotech etc. the medium package for uses students is like 4 lakh per annum and PG students was about 4 to 5 lakh per annum. However when compared with some of the top tile institutions the package levels and placement percentage highlight the student themselves me to bridge through internship of campus drive and additional certifications. Another noticeable trend is that placements 10 to be more favourable for the branches like computer science and information technology where are School branches of an face lower absorption rates which is common in many engineering colleges. But here off campus placement are really good

Truth about NIT Raipur

Placement Experience:

Placement scenario is so good as per the stats . Like students are eligible for placements from there 7th sem . No. Of companies visited is around 200 (guess). Offers made 600(guess) . Highest package is 65 lpa , and average package is 9 lpa there are major two roles one is core engineering get role and other is non core data analyst role . 86 % students are placed last year . My plan is to get good placements from college itself and then after experience I will go for MBA or higher studies .

Course curriculum is very outdated and here the facilities more practical and they believe that if you want you can do other field like non-technical fields and something like government exam. There course or syllabus is not industrial ready.

Affordable government college in Chhattisgarh

Placement Experience:

Internship for the third and final year students, but not paid mostly. Placements are very few, don't expect placement from any government college in Chhattisgarh. Work on your skill. Companies like Adani came for placement for Mtech mining students. Highest package is of 3.5 lpa, He works in Bangalore. Other students do master. I am working in my skills and I will try for off campus placement or I will go abroad for master or job.

Placements are offered, companies come to college to offer placement, but obviosuly not all students get placed, Only handful of students get placed at good package of around 6~9 LPA And many get normal mass hiring jobs at TCS of 2~3 LPA

Currently in 1st yr so I have not explored much. But my inner feeling says I am in the right place and in the right branch. There are so many club and community which gives us a real world applications. Course curriculum and teaching method are good Classes are of 50min.It starts from 9 to 12:20 then from 2 to 5:20 . Morning timing is generally lab and evening theory classes

NIT raipur at a glance

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from 3rd year.If you need any information regarding the placements you can visit the college official website,there will be a list of companies visited the college in a particular year and statistics of the placements. The average pacakage is about 9LPa for chemical engineering.It will be differed when it comes to CSE,IT .THe highest package this year(2024) is about 53lpa . Many of the students will get job offers during the campus itself and few people remain jobless and they get prepare for off-campus and few opt for higher studies. Almost 80-90 percent gets placed in the college itself irrespective of the branch.
