Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is according to the Market needs. There is lots of practical work and theory as well to improve the knowledge of students for making industry ready . Here you can get lots of research facilities to improve and do research in the field you want .

Internships Opportunities

I didn't applied for internship. The project which i completed is on the wear behaviour of copper material produced through bound powder extrusion. Second project is autonomous mobile robot fleet management.

Placement Experience

Placement are good here but this time 2024 batch placement are not that much good otherwise now also some students got good package maximum 24 lpa this time . Percentage of placement is 80 percentage because ither 20 percentage are not attending placement they were applying for higher studies. My plans is to get job after the degree

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee increase policy is there but that also not in per semester. Suppose you having 70k in 1st semester then next sem 73k like that much increase in fee is there but next year less than 2nd semester fee. The complete cost of education including tution, service fees and other charges is 800000. Students scholarship or financial help is there but for those students who lost their one of the parents. Campus placement training is also happening for good placement

Campus Life

The annual and technical fest are as follows Kruksastra - 5 April to 7th April Dask - 8 to 10 march Colloseum - from 16th feb to 18th February The facilities for classroom are good like there are smart class in every class . There is NCC group is also in my college.

Hostel Facilities

The facilities provided in the room is - Cot, Chair, Table Meal quality is good but not very good only veg item is there for food in mess. Yiu have to registration for 1 year after each year you have to again register for hostel.

Hostel Fee: INR 12000 per year

Admission

For taking admission in Sastra Deemed University there is two ways to get into this college either you wrote jee mains or good marks in your board exam . You can find the application form online from the website of this college which is sastra.edu , application fees and all other fees details are mentioned in the website.

Why SRM is better than other collages.

Placement Experience:

So from 6-7th semester they offers placements before that we have placement training in campus.So highest package for 2024 was 45 to 50 lpa,good offer given by amazon and other company also.So the average package is 7.5 lpa and highest package was 50 lpa.so 925 application are accepted in last 2 monts .My plans to get job and then after 2 years may be for higher study or startups.

“SASTRA: Strict but Worth It”

had applied to a few reputed universities like VIT, SRM, and Amrita along with SASTRA. I did get shortlisted in some, but I chose SASTRA mainly because of its better academic reputation, affordable fee structure compared to VIT/SRM, and strict yet student-friendly environment.
