Course Curriculum Overview

Since BVDUCOA is a deemed University they have a exclusive BOS (Board of studies) which designs and updates the syllabus every 2 years hands on experience learning by doing is practiced here at BVDUCOA

Internships is offered by the following companies. Tata power, Open bowl, sunil pawar accociates etc. They provide internships for residential commercial and public domence. Professional projects are practiced

Placement Experience

From the 10th semester students are eligible for placements. Name of companies are sunil patil and accociates, Open bowl, Tata power etc offers placements. Highest package is 8.4lakh Average package 3.6 to 4.2lakh

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fee of 140 to 800 that includes extra curriculum activities, council of Architecture level and external scholarships can also be awared. College has 1500+ aluminis and placement cell since the college is 30 year old.

Campus Life

The college has cultural events every year at the starting of year, college has Nature clubs, Photography club, Drawing club etc. The classroom has facilities such as Smart Board, Notice Board, sufficient space, Proper Desk, Fan Lights etc.

Admission

10+3/10+3 with PCM with 45% aggregate. The required exam is Nata National Aptitude test in Architecture with a minimum score of 70 to be eligible minimum of 1attempt and maximum of 3 attempt were allowed

The reason i choose architecture because it fascinates me how a place can be developed into holistic place interests me . The curriculum has some good inputs but it doesn't make you industry ready extra efforts should be taken to learn advance softwares extra classes newer research etc discussion on advance technology becomes important in modern age how architecture is changing is not discussed

Course Curriculum Overview:

The frequency of exam is twice a semester and good enough. Guest lectures are good and helpful for the future preparation.There must be a change in teaching styles of the faculty and more site based experiments through the course for better understanding than only in class studies , the beauty of historical buldings made me wonder about this course

Designing dreams at DYPCET

Placement Experience:

For architecure departments, usually there are no placements, but since this Institute is autonomous, they have startes conducting placements drive. Last year 10/12 students were placed in good firms all over banglore, pune, kolhapur. I plan on applying to different firms all over Maharashtra and would also hope to get placement via college since the packages that are offered are good. Placement percentage is anywhere between 12-15%. The highest package offered was around 5,40,000, average package for a architecture student would be-around 3lakhs.

Placement Experience:

There is no campus placement for architecture students. After completion of the degree, one can apply for jobs or opt for masters. Architects get an average starting salary of 20-25 thousand. The course is pretty expensive including college fees and printing prices. One can also open a private firm and earn enough money. There are very few open students getting placed. My plans after getting a degree are to apply for masters. For a teaching job, one must complete masters.

The reason I chose this college were that i due to some personal issues and problems scored less marks in MHT-CET, JEE and other competetive exams which made it difficult to get admission into other colleges. BVPCOEP conducted a personal CET exam on the basis of which I was selected. They also considered 12th boards marks(minimum 65% required PCM or Physics, chemistry, and computer science(vocational course)). My experience at Bharati Vidyapeeth.

Other colleges I applied to were MIT Pune and Symbiosis Institute of Technology. I couldn't get into MIT because I couldn't clear there entrance test. The tution fees at Symbiosis is higher but is not on par with the quality of their education.
