The curriculum is packed and designed a way to encourage you to be more practical and helps ahead for the academic and professional career development They are outstanding in these things minor problems and discomfort can be rectified. The frequency of exams is 1.5 month / exam I think it's apt and good time according to the difficulty level and well planned curriculum.

Many internships were offered here in the campus most of them are under to help in the professors research work and Many companies such Morgan Stanley ,JP Morgan and amazon offers intership around 50k? -70k? . Projects under many departments such as civil engineering in the BTCM we find project such as reinforced concrete strength in which we should reinforced concrete strength with plastic checking the strength concrete with different types of such as plastic wastes measuring strength of reinforced concrete and report its uses the tests conducted and favourable materials .

The fee structure is changed lot after increase fees recently. My hostel fee at the beginning is around 12149? where I am exempted from tution fee around 45k ? and it has increased doubled recently 24k? per semester and including college fees around 8 k? per semester which includes mess and course per year around I have to pay 23k? and after that it has been nearly 32k? per semester and the total cost which hostel fee ,mess fee ,gym fee , Library fee and course per annum around 64k? in fourth and 5 th year all around it cost me around more 3 lakh rupees.for my batch. There are many scholarships are available such sc/st scholarship,MCM SCHOLARSHIP, ADITYA BIRLA scholarship and etc., There is criteria to be satisfied to apply scholarships. There are many fests goes in the institute our branch civil engineering conducts CEA FEST,. CAMPUS FEST technical and cultural fest The technical fest is saashtra and saarang I joined as an coordinator roles .

The overall experience in the campus is always wonderful with friends and many social events happens in the campus Mainly the fest there two fest celebrated in IIT MADRAS saashtra and saarang. Saashtra is the technical fest which is showcase the all new things in the event with stalls etc.,l Events such hackathon ,workshop, exhibition It is conducted in the January month of year Saarang is the cultural fest that happens in the campus in the month of January and it's one of the events u can experience such djs ,edm and all other celebrities visiting the campus to perform in these event The central library is on the biggest Library and has Books and journals. Here in IIT MADRAS u have many types of sports court to play example: cricket, tennis football and many grounds to play and participate in the games Including gym swimming pool etc , There are many student group,clubs in the campus Such as literary club , sangam club,thespian club etc.,the impact is very positive way and to

The hostel facility is old style building which old like my hostel jamuna Hostels are big and rooms are sufficient size in the 1st year we should share our room with other friends no single room is alloted but from the second u will get single room for very single person more privacy. The hostels most violent neighbours are ???? monkeys they're are always ready snatch and also to do monkey things Facilities provided in the room are a reading desk with chair and cot with fan and light cupboard and common bathroom outside with 5 bathrooms in a floor of capacity 30-40 lavatory and wash room and washing machine Meals are very hygienic and served on time and closes little bit late for the sake of students The food is great and even have jain mess. Menu in the mess is targeted for specific categories of regions people different such as south Indian mess north indian mess jain mess and non veg mess Aka (food court). First of all u should qualify for the jee mains and jee advanced entrance test and the cutoff ST Category is around 62 marks which is around 12.5 percentage and securing 3.5percentage in all 3 subjects. Admission process while the consuelling I had to carry all my documents in a order the consuelling process it takes around 1 day . I have took civil engineering and eligibility to the course is the same jee advanced course. Jossa basically at the beginning after that u should use ikollege website and after institute website academics.iitm.ac.in websites help you to pay and get the details . I availed National SC/ST Scholarship which u need to apply submit documents and fill form in the academic section. The exam timing are moderate in the odd semester but in the even semester is it is tight.
