Likes

The college campus looks well. And the ambiance is nice.
The campus is near the Periyar river. It's a nice atmosphere.
The campus is situated in the area where there is no pollution.

Dislikes

Total 100 students in the college (including the first year and second year students)
There is no canteen facility. So that the students are struggling for the needy time.Also there is no stationary shops
No campus life to enjoy because most of the time the student teachers are whether in school induction or school internship.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course(Bachelor of Education) is suggested for the development of a well trained teachers. By completing this course in 2 years, can acquire a student with lots of values, psychological thinking, technologically developed according to the curriculum, and also most of this acquire the pedagogical knowledge.

Internships Opportunities

In the second year of the course there is an internship opportunities available. It is the training period for us. There are 8 schools offered us for the internship under the management of the college.

Fees and Financial Aid

The two year tuition fee for the course Bachelor of Education is 2×45000(90000). But there is lot of cost for this course. May be there is lots of scholarships or financial aid for the students but I didn't come up with this opportunities.

Campus Life

I didn't come up with such annual or technical festivals but there is an Arts festival , and an annual day. But sports and extracurricular activities are offered in the B.Ed curriculum,so it is initiated according to it.

Hostel Facilities

I have accomodated in a private hostel. It is located in the centre of Aluva, namely Thottakkattukara. Meal quality is good. The room facilities are good. The hostel fee is 5k per month. Moreover it is near the town area, also near the metro station,Aluva.

Admission

The course is Bachelor of Education. The eligibility for the course is the student should pass 12th +UG/PG in the respective course. Application through online and should apply by remitting the respective fees given by University.

My campus Life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of various areas to be studied in order to become a good teacher in future and its also help us to foster our skills and other areas to be improved. The curriculum include 5 day initiatory school experience which make us to learn the school environment in real. The curriculum is also included with 6 month of teaching practice which as a very good aspect in the curriculum as it helps each students to develop their teaching skills and their abilities in teaching. The curriculum is also included with demonstration classes of highly experience teachers and criticism classes of each students to know their negatives and positives in teaching. The exams are conducted in every 6 months of 2 year course and it is not much difficult even the below average student can easily pass the exams. The teaching method used are various by using different learning Aids by using ICT , PPT etc.
