- I made very good friends at the end. The memories i made were great.
- My roommate since 3 years is very good. I am definitely going to miss her.
- Some food outlets are good here. But there are more fast food outlets compared to healthy ones. Healthy ones are expensive.
Dislikes
- The behavior of some teachers. You can't even complaint.
- The hostel life and mess food made it very difficult for me to survive.
- Some students are very ill mannered and nasty.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose B pharmacy so that I can get a decent job after Bachelor. Curriculum only prepares you for the semester exams and not for the real world. Students go for masters in other universities. Very few pursue from the same, due to less fee maybe. Curriculum should be based on its relevance and not on teachers availability. 8 semesters, one final exam in each semester and 2 sessional exams in each semester.
Placement Experience
Last year students are eligible for applying for placement. Companies like ind swift, nec life, skolar, nestle, abryl and alembic come for Pharmacy. Average package is 2.5 lpa. Nestle give about 6 lpa. 60% get placed. I will be joining the company i got placed in.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tuition fee is relatively low as compared to other Universities like Chitkara and CU. But be ready for sudden increment in hostel fee. No facilities but high fees. Wardens are very rude. You'll get only a wooden plank (bed), table, chair and cupboard. Charges of 1st year ? 102000 + ?70000 hostel fee 2nd year ? 108000 + ? 70000 hostel fee 3rd year ? 110000 + ? 70000 hostel fee 4th year ? 120000 + ? 80000 hostel fee If you have above 90% in 12th, You'll get 100% scholarship. I got placed in a good company. Not related to my course.
Campus Life
This University organises UniversuMM, AIU, Ammunition and freshers and farewell parties. Books are available in the library. Library is very nice (central). All other departments had ACs installed but Law and Pharmacy were the poor ones. Now the ACs are being installed when we are about to leave. Cricket Tournament is organised regularly. There are many clubs like Literary club, dance, music, magazine etc.
Hostel Facilities
You will find a wooden plank aka bed. A cupboard attached to wall. A table and a chair. You'll have to bring your own mattress and essential things. The quality of mess food is getting worse every month. You can register for hostel from University domain. Sudden increment in hostel fees and lack of facilities and rude behaviour of warden and administration forced me to leave hostel and choose PG. PGs are available near Shiv Mandir and Betel Leaf.
Admission
I got enrolled in this University in September of 2020. There was no entrance and admission was granted based on the percentage of 12th. For B.Pharm you need 50% in PCM/ PCB/ PCMB, in all the subjects. You can find the application form on University domain. Application fees at my time was 1200. Students from J&K and Bihar get reservation benefits. Moreover, if you have more than 90% in 12th, you'll get 100% scholarship. If you maintain the scores and attendance (90%) you will continue getting scholarship. In B. Pharmacy there are 2 sessional exams, and one final exam in a semester. There are 8th semesters. 6th Semester is most difficult. University should be transparent and honest at the time of admission.
