Course Curriculum Overview

4

Obviously, i am studying in a private institute so actually, there is no need of any suggestions to give them becoz they conducting weekly short papers, and monthly block test. But the university does not give enough time for our year students. I chose this field becoz as a reason for me if anyone gets any relief it would be a great reward for me.

Internships Opportunities

3

Believers is a newly established college, so the stipend was not high its only about 12000 but increasingly per year. We can do projects as per our own interest and tge faculties are highly supportive for it and also we are recruitted to noethern indian states as a part of internship which is really intresting becoz we are dealt with rural area people and also with a entirely different culture.

Fees and Financial Aid

Annually in Private medical college ( in the year 2023) has a fee structure of 7.5 lakh per year excluding hostel fee and special fee which is around 2 lakh in my college, for different college it ws different and may change yearly according to their grading and infrastructure provided bybthe college. State scholarship liie e grade and central schrship liie mmc are available but note it any one of tge above only get.

Campus Life

4

Basically in medical colleges we have no. Of programs are there eventhough i am studying in private college there was also plenty of programs. We have lot of clubs club for dance, literature, sportsitems, music bands, social welfare etc clubs are there. All of these have great impacts on the life of medical students becoz our courses offered such tremendous pressure on us.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Actually i believing i got one of tge best hostel in kerala the rooms are highly clean attached bathroom with washbasin area separately. Only during 1st year the mess food is compulsory otger year as your wish you can buy it from where you want or can continue in the mess, the mess food is average. Dosa appam putt idli are the breakfasr item. Either vegbor non veg curry. Rice is the only launch item with sambar pappadam either chicken, fish, or egg and 2 or 3 veg itams also there. Heater facility is available and also lift is thwre

Admission

I wrote Neet examination in the year 2023 and scored 562. nta was the conducting agency application fees were about around 1500, through state qouta i secured this seat with a fees of 7 lakh annually. I dont get my seat through reservation, but i am actually belongs to obc but thr institute is a Christian majority college so for general and obc students the admission cutoff are same but for the Christian religion they had all India Christian seat so they dont want enough score as much as we scored. Basically the neet is simple but during the time ofexam we should be in a state of cool confident and also both mentally and physically wealthiest one

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is a bit tough rather than other courses (professional courses) MBBS is a 4 year course with 1 year compulsory internship dealing with a total of 13-4 subject over the 4 years The curriculum prepares us for the real world experiecne but more often the clinical subjects aim in patuent student interaction that overall help in the achievemnt of professionalism The frequency if exams are very high as there needs to be regular revision of subjects in order to prepare for the finals and perfect in all clinical theory and oractical aspects

Reviewed on Nov 30, 2024(Enrolled 2021)

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is of high relevance as it ensures that the student learns everything he need to learn in an mbbs life to become a good doctor. The curriculum we are now following is decided by the National Medical Council (NMC) of India and is CBME curriculum. The curriculum include many Self directed learning methods and small group discussions etc which makes the learning interesting and easy. The curriculum definitely prepares the students to become a good doctor in future. Some minute improvements are still required like no need of these many SGDs for community medicine and forensic. It'll be better to include more field activities in community medicine . The frequency and timing of exams are sometimes a burden for the students as the exams are so close and they are not getting enough time to improve themselves which may affect their confidence. Sometimes the exams are scheduled in between some meets conducted by university which makes it difficult for the students to participate.
