THE PLACE WHICH TAUGHT ME THE LESSONS OF LIFE ALONG WITH ENGINEERING

The course I chose was up to the mark. I was well satisfied with the decision I made. Initially, it took some time for me to get adjusted, the but later everything went on fine. More time was spent on theoretical rather than practical. But practicals had their own preference when needed. There are many research initiatives from college out of which MEMS Lab where I completed a project. Elective options include some few subjects like Materials.

Internship was included in the course curriculum. But the stipend is not provided. Students have to put their own funds for that. I completed my internship at railways. It was a good experience how the operation of railways was going on.

Placements were the biggest part of my college life. Nearly 50% students got placed in good MNCs and the other 30-40 got some other companies. TCS IBM and POLARIS were the biggest companies. The average package was 3.3 LPA.

We had technical fest every year which included technical and cultural events. The Annual day celebrations are also a part of the college eventa.

Fee structure was well defined. It was affordable. For BE/BTECH it was 35,200 at the time of joining. Later, NAAC visited and after 5 rating ,the fee was increased to 50,200.

The college provided scholarship based on merit list. All the merit students were awarded. There are also management for loan provided by bank authorities inside the college premise.

I stayed in hostel in first year of my course. The room were good and well maintained. The food was not that much delicious but it is fine. Each room used to be a 3,4 sharing room. The hostel fee was 20000 for me at the time of joining.

The faculty are very friendly in natured. They try to explain concepts in a friendly way. They are well experienced and qualified. They interact with us and know our concerns and act accordingly. Most of the faculty completed their Ph.D and few are in persuasion.
