Remarks

According to me this college is very good for the students who are really serious about their career, they do not entertain useless things rather than that they makes sure students gets the utmost benefits from the college environment.

Entrance Preview

AIMS institute focuses on the career enhancement of their students. letting students choose their interested field and motivating them is every aspect was one reason to opt this college for my higher studies. Supporting students to participate in all sort of sports activities and giving them opportunity to represent college was one of the biggest reason to choose. I represent AIMS institute for Basket Ball at Bangalore University Level.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

My course in Bachelor in commerce. Faculty here gives us an ILO which stands for Internal Learning outcome and CLO which means Course Learning outcome. Its a new way of teaching the students where faculty let us know what will be taught in coming days of semester. Through this it makes students easy to understand that when the concept will be done and what are the assignments to be done against a particular topic. ILO's and CLO's makes a course learning easy.

Internships Opportunities

Basically they does not provide as internship as such, but if any student personally want internship then they provide us with references i.e in which company they can go and be a part of that company as an intern.

Placement Experience

4

In terms of placements college gives a good opportunity for the students of MBA and BHM, rather than this if you are an exceptionally good then you will be definitely getting a chance to sit for an campus selection. Teachers selects the most feasible student and gives them the opportunity of getting placed from campus.

Fee Structure And Facilities

College fee structure is feasible, is affordable by everyone. Service provided by the college is worth paying the fees. Some courses like BHM, BBA are a bit expensive but they offer international tour which sums up the total fees which is paid by the student.

Fees and Financial Aid

yes this college do provide scholarship such as:- 1)Pragati (Scholarship for Girl Students) 2)Saksham (Scholarship to Differently Abeled Students)

Campus Life

4

Campus life is good as you will find students interacting you will find challenges, in terms of competition in terms of sports. overall i love to be a part of AIMS. They support me a lot in sports as am an official presenter of the college in basketball, i play it for Bangalore University from AIMS institute.

Hostel Facilities

3

The hostel facilities are average its not worth money but, they do provide a good accommodation. Rooms are quite big and specious, cleanses is maintained throughout the hostel campus, but in terms of mess facilities it is not upto the mark, quality of food is not soo good.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni of this college are very successful, this college keeps a session where students gets a chance to interact with the pass out students. They guide us, they are humble and they do help us.

Exam Structure

Examination structure is very simple and genuine. We have 2 internals exams, each internal exam is for 20 marks, followed by a pre-final of 70 marks which is purely based on semester exam, and after this we giver our final semester exam of 70 Marks + 30 marks internal assessment.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester. Our college has a dedicated placement department that really guides and supports us through the whole process. Big companies like Deloitte and KPMG visit the campus every year, and since I’m doing B.Com + ACCA, there are plenty of great opportunities in finance and accounting. Last year, around 8 students from the B.Com batch got placed in finance roles. The average package was about ?6 LPA. The best part is that placements keep getting better every year, and the college has maintained a 100% placement record. They’ve even tied up with foreign companies, which opens up more global opportunities for us. After completing my degree, I plan to build a strong career in finance—hopefully starting with a reputed company like Deloitte or KPMG—and later explore opportunities abroad.

Placement Experience:

The college offers placement through the COC (Career Opportunities) cell. Students become eligible for placements by the 5th Semester. The companies which come to hire include the Big 4s, (KPMG, Delloite, EY and BCG), Fedral Bank,TCS, etc. Almost 70% of students opt for higher eduaction so the less number of students get placed at the UG level at least. I am personally figuring out which path to choose but I have placement in mind at the end of the degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My specific aspect of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose the course is the ACCA along with Bcom. Most importantly the 9 paper exemptions provided that gives flexibility in the context of studying. The curriculum is well corporate and real world oriented. They prepare us on how to face the real corporate world through their curriculum by conducting different seminars and workshops.
