Truth about IIT BHU

Main factor that drove me to choose this branch was mainly due to lack I had seeing my jee advanced rank, but considering other factors this branch has many high scopes in today's world. After corona periods, every other companies and institutiom is improving and focusing in health sector. So this course prepares us for that and in one sem there are two exams which are midsems and endsems, midsems are comparatively easy than endsems and paper is easy. Fee things that can be improved in the course are in today's world everything is digitalized, coded, fed to AIs, so if the course had some touch of some computer knowledge it will improve the overall placement considering today's world conditions.

There are many companies who come for internships in different fields like SDE, Data science, Product management, Consulting, etc. My friend recently got internship in Google with stipend of 80000 for 2 months, there are many opportunities like this .

Placements take place during December and April for final year students. There are many companies who make offer for different fields including data science, software development, product management, etc. Highest package goes upto 1.5crores per annum and average package remains at 20 lacks per annum. Minimum 80 percent of students get placed during placements and remaining gets offers in off campus placements too. After getting degree, I plan to do job and get placed at a good company with decent package

Tution fees is constant at ~106000 per semester with no increase till now with additional 15000 for mess charges. It doesn't increase on a regular basis. There are many scholarship opportunities for students who need them. People who are financially weak and have under 5lakhs per anmum income gets many scholarship statewise and in institute too. In campus I have not taken any employments till now just some social work which was not paid.

There are many fests which happen throughout the year but mainly, Kashiyatra (held in January) Technex (held in March) Spardha (held in October) are main fests. In library, there are all variety of books available for every branch, every fielda including some very informative books, magazines and everything. In classroom there are sound proof walls with windows to let the air pass. I play basketball and I am the vice captain so I can say that sports facilities are quite good in IIT BHU, although it has declined little bit in recent years after covid times. But its again recovering and coming back strongly. There are many clubs you can get involved in like dance club, drama club, music club, astronomy club, automotive vehicles clubs etc and you will be sure to make bonds you can't forget your whole life.

In recent situation, first and second years both are reisding in triple sharing rooms but it was not same for previous second yearites, they got double sharing rooms. We get cupboards, table chairs, fans and beds in room, you have to take your own mattress though. Mess food is not bad, few mess foods are better but they all are good. You have to pay fees of 15000 per semester for mess fees and your name will already be registered you don't to do anything. If you have to rent a room or PG, Hyderabad gate is the perfect place, it's very close to campus and quite affordable too.

I gave IIT JEE ADVANCED exam for admission into my college, it happens 1 time a year and you first have to qualify JEE Mains with cutoff of 90percentile for general category, then in jee advanced you have to clear cutoff in every subject and have to get rank under 15000 for boys and at least under 25000 for girls. Then after qualifying we had to submit our choices of subjects and colleges preference wise in counselling. In counselling there are 6 chances, you can lock your branch and college in 1st chance also and in any furthet chances then you have to make the payment and after 6 choices if you dont lock any branch then your last choice will be locked and you will get a confirmation letter and then after some days you have to go to your respective colleges for physical registration, where you will be required many documents like your 12th class scorehsheet, etc., migration certificate, 10th class scorehsheet, fee receipt, then after that you will get a temporary id card.
