Nature . There are full of trees which gives a cool environment. There are agricultural fields which gives a awesome view in morning and evening
Architecture. The style and design of our departments
The location of our campus. Varanasi/ Kasi - The place of Lord Shiva . Ghats near to our campus

Summer -It's too hot 🥵 and winter - It's too cold 🥶
Distance of the Metallurgy department which is almost 2 km away from hostels

Course Curriculum Overview

In IIT Varanasi Metallurgy department is the oldest department which recently completed it's Golden Jubilee. The professors are very talented. As the department is second in terms of Metallurgy department in our country it matches with the level of difficulty.

Class Size: 140Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure: OC/OBC students tution fees is nearly 100000 Sc/St / finicial backward students 6500 The hostel fee is same for everyone 15000 There are so many scholarship for students. Each and every person can get atleast one of the scholarship. Except those students whose parents are Government employees.

Campus Life

There are so many fest going on in our campus. Spardha in September/October. Kashi yatra in January Technex in March Jagriti in March E- Cell in February and soo on . In the Library you can also get fictional. The timing of Library is from 9 AM to 7:30 PM. There is also a reading hall where you can study peacefully from 8 AM to 2 AM. The facility of our campus is strict as well as friendly and they are very efficient. The classroom as I can't describe as we get more sleep. In our campus there are so many sports like basketball, Volleyball, Football, Kho- Kho , Kabaddi, Badminton. There is also yoga and athletic tooo. There are various club where you can learn music , you can teach other students, give innovative ideas , learn coding.

Admission

I am from IIT Varanasi Metallurgy department.The eligibility for this course is determined by Jee Advanced rank. The obc rank should be around 7000-8000 for girls. The sc /st students they get admission in any one of the IIT by just qualifing Jee Advanced test. For qualifying the exam you need to practice previous year papers and go through the chapters where there are repeating questions.Make sure the concepts are clear

Placement Experience:

Form the beginning of very first year students are eligible for the campus placements. TCS, cognizant, wipro, are the some companies visited here. Highest package is 44 lpa in amazon which is off campus for software role. Placements % is quite medium if you are serious about skill then you will be get a path here to go ahead. Arround 60 to 70 is the placement % My plans after getting degree is to get a job.

GLA University Mathura is Great!

Placement Experience:

Average package at GLA University may range between 5-7 lakhs but one student has managed to get placements of 55 lakhs and that is still the record placement from GLA University campus Mathura. Around 70-75% students are placed every year but I will be preparing for GATE as my ambition are to be atleast post graduate if not a PHD.

Good for learning and Skill development

Placement Experience:

Mostly te 6th sem (3rd year) got eligible for campus placement. Amazon, Accenture, AVL India, Atlan and many others (about 900+) visited and made 4000+ offers. The ave. package is about 5.25 LPA and highest crossed 39 LPA. Above 60%+ got their placement and the persentage of students receiving multiple offer is about 32%. After degrre want to build a strong carrer and to contribute in the grouth of Bharat.

Honest Opinion on IIIT ALLAHABAD

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester, many students get into the internship and many gets further preplacement through it. The companies visted are google, atlassian, flipkart, qualcomm, samsung, phone pe etc. Highest package is 1.21CR per annum. Average package is 30LPA 90% students got placed. Private job is the plan after getting the degree. 90% students gets placed.

So entry in IIT BHU was through JEE ADVANCE. I gave the examination and got an All India Rank(AIR) of 7533. Then I had Josaa counselling where I had to select colleges according to my priorities. So one of the many colleges I filled was IIT BHU(4 Year B.TECH Chemical Branch). The distribution of colleges is purely based on your ranks. Higher rankers will be prefferd above you.
