Course Curriculum Overview

The syllabus of the college was a little bit outdated when I joined. But the syllabus of the batches that have come after me have latest syllabus with industry oriented topics that make students industry ready.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Internships Opportunities

A very few companies offer internships at MGIT College. This year Deloitte has come and offered summer internship opportunity for 3 students from the entire third year students. Every year Providence would come. But it didn't come this year.

Placement Experience

MGIT College has an overall good placement history. As mentioned in their official website , various companies have come to college to recruit the students and provided them with placements into various MNCs.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college fee when I joined was Rs. 1,20,000/-. But for the students that have joined the later years, the fee structure changed and now the new students are paying around Rs. 1,80,000/- for the tution fee.

Campus Life

Our college hosts an annual fest called Nirvana. It is a three day fest. And annually sports events are also conducted. Our college has various clubs run by the students. The club members are students only.

Admission

My admission into MGIT is through B category. I was admitted into college through my JEE mains rank. Since I was admitted through B category, I could not avail any scholarships offered by the college or government.

A good yet strict college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum in this college is not bad. The teaching standards should be highly improved. In comparing the teaching standards, firstly the recruitment of faculty should be enhanced and they should not be recruited simply through some certifications. Good modes or methods of teaching, and certain capabilities are required to become teacher for engineers.
