Likes

Its campus is small so u can visit whole campus easily
It is near to Ganga ghat so u can get peace after he tic schedule of study.
I like library the most . U can get all type of books.

Dislikes

I dislike the thing there is no good canteen in campus.
There is some partiality in clubs which i don't like .
Very less companies visit for core branches.

Course Curriculum Overview

This college is known specially known for its branch-Civil Engineering branch.Faculties of Geotechnical and Structural Analysis are excellent.However there is lack of practical knowledge in some courses.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 5000 per year

Placement Experience

From the end of 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement. But if u want placement u have to start preparation for aptitude from beginning. For civil branch ,core companies like L&T,KEC,Aditya Birla Group,MKC visited and other companies unacademy, Deloitte,Pwc also visited.

Fees and Financial Aid

Total tution fee is approx 62500 for students whose parents income is more than 5 lakhs and approx 5100 per semester for students whose parents income is less than 1 lakhs and belongs to OBC category. Scholarships are also provided .Talking about Placement approx 80% students get placement.

Campus Life

The present clg campus is very small but new campus is under construction. Corona and Melange technical fest are held in the end of January month . Library faculty is overall okay .You will get approx all text books.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel Facility is good but there is time restriction for girls and also for boys.Meal quality is okay okay type. U will get all type of food items.Non veg is also available with coupon. All students can apply for hostel

Hostel Fee: INR 24000 per year

Admission

First of all u should clear jee mains exam .After that u have to go through Jossa Counselling.If you get more than 95 percentile then u will get admission easily in this college .This college is known for civil engineering branch .

The Campus placements are quite good. Almost 50 percentage of students get placed but most of the students dont not have plans on accepting placements they either have their own plans or choose to go for Masters degree. Average package is around 1300000.

Placement Experience:

The current scenario of placements are not quite good . But in electrical engineering it is a little good .Previously except 2-3 students all students were placed successfully from our department.One best thing about NIT-Patna's placement is that it doesn't allows companies to aquire students who offers a placement of less than 6 lakh.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students starts their internship and sitting in placement opportunities heighest package is approximately 1.5 crore and lowest packages 6 lakh. Here 60 to 70% students is most probably placed.

A short review about NIT Patna

Placement Experience:

The placement of the college is decsent comparaing to other institutes . Every nigger companies comes and recruits the students with descent packages and in some case with extraodrinary CTCs . Basically there is mass recruitment in Civil and mechanical branches . Also the IT recruiters give chances and packages to lots of eligible student irrespective their branches .

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for the placement from the 3rd year onwards and till completion of 4th and last year.The students are also eligible for the interships offers from 3rd year onwards. Various companies visited in our college including GOOGLE,AMAZON,JP MORGAN,FLIPKARK,SAMSUNG,NVIDIEA,ORACLE,INFOSYSand many more and are offering 2-3 job offers per student . The highest package in our college this year is 27 lakh ctc from samsung.7 students are able grab this mighty oppurtunities and are companies are still visting for hiring. The average placement of the students are nearly Rs 6 lakh CTC. The percentage placement is nearly 100% in our college except for some braches like civil and mechanical where the placement percentage are nearly 80-85%. My plan is to go for UPSC exam after getting degree from this college.

Nit patna review from first year student.

I do councelling via jossa so there is float , slide , freeze option no rejection are possible. I choose nit patna as it is best college according to the rank the current political scenario. There is lot of good college rather than nit patna but I choose it as it in come in tier 2 college and far better than other low grade colleges.
