Amit Parsan's Review On Maulana Azad National Institute Of Technology - [MANIT], Bhopal

The management needs to reduce the politics and increase the education standards. The money that comes in needs to be invested in the institution rather than getting money for their personal benefits.

AIEEE - My score was around 300+ points.The option of my branch and the fact that NITs came after IITs made me chose this college.

The course curriculum was ok, nothing extra ordinary during my tenure. The Information Technology branch was recently added and Computer Science was an Older branch and much more preferred.

During my college years, there were no companies which used to come for internships, but recently when i visited the campus, I came to know that a lot of renowned companies visit the campus for selection of students for internships.

The placement and job opportunities have increased a lot as compared to from my college years. Even during my college years, we had substantial placement and nearly all students got placed. Only thing of concern was - the packages were not high enough. But now even that is not a concern.

The fees was expensive when compared to the other NITs - 34k semi-annually .

I did not avail of any scholarship as such, but there were many scholarships provided by the govt to students whose parents did not earn much. The library also provided the books for the whole semester for the students of less-privileged background.

There were opportunities for extracurricular activities, sports etc but one would have to be pro-active to do such things. It was not like IITs where there are ample opportunities. But still we had sufficient events to keep one busy.

There is an active alumni association which is also connected via social medium. There are get-together arranged from time to time in different places for people to get to know each other and benefit from the same.

The Exam Structure was such that it was neither too hectic nor too chilled out. We had two minor exams in a semester spread across in 3-4 months followed by a Major exam. All the marks counts. We used to have internal and external practical exams. During
