  • The institution offers a narrow scope of extracurricular programs and student organizations relative to other peer institutions
  • Some course instruction relies on pedagogical approaches that have been superseded by more applied and experiential learning models

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum had a hybrid of both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Some factors that contributed to choosing the course was the inclusion of topics that are useful in my future profession, and having hands-on experience made it more interesting and relatable to real-world events. However, it can be more detailed in certain areas, such as integrating other disciplines’ perspectives or aspects of the latest trends. The exam frequency and difficulty were reasonable but the exams’ difficulty; some people failed them because it was hard. They could include more continuous assessment rather than having only the final exams. The teaching methods were different because some use new teaching ways, but some use old teaching ways.

Placement Experience :

Students typically become eligible for competitive campus placements starting in their seventh semester of study. Well-known companies such as Amazon, Infosys, and IBM visited the campus to offer positions in fields like software development, data analytics, and consulting. The highest annual compensation package offered was 120,000, while the average annual package ranged from 50,000 to 70,000 depending on the employer and job role. Approximately 75% of students secured placements, highlighting the college's strong industry relationships and rigorous academic standards. Without access to campus placements myself, I plan to enhance my employability by pursuing internships, freelance projects, and certification courses in my field of study. Additionally, leveraging professional networks through platforms and attending industry events will be critical for exploring job opportunities and defining a successful career path upon completing my degree program.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

So usually for schools, there would be tuition fees along with other mandatory service charges and additional compulsory fees. How much tuition increased each year was different between schools, often reviewed annually or every other year with adjustments made based on inflation or what the school needed. The total cost of education included tuition, housing if needed on campus, books, and other miscellaneous expenses. Scholarships and financial aid programs were available from each school, called different names and amounts. Some common types were merit-based scholarships for good grades, need-based grants if you needed financial help, and athletic scholarships for playing sports. There were also jobs offered on campus in areas like being a research assistant, teaching assistant, or working in the administration. The responsibilities depended on the job, and you got paid based on how many hours you worked and what your duties

Campus Life :

My time in college was really vibrant and enriching. There was all kinds of social activities and clubs to get involved in. We had big annual events like SpringFest in March and TechExpo in November that were great for cultural sharing and academic discussions. The library had tons of books, journals, and online resources that helped with research and exploring topics. Classrooms had modern equipment and tech tools that enhanced the learning. Sports facilities catered to different interests both indoor and outdoor, which promoted physical health and teamwork. Extracurriculars ranged from debate clubs to music groups, fostering personal growth and community involvement. There were also student-run social groups and clubs like the Environmental Club or Entrepreneurship Society that provided ways to network and pursue shared passions. Overall, campus life was dynamic and inclusive, offering plenty of opportunities for personal and academic development.

Admission :

The process of admission varies from institution to institution and courses to courses. However, the criterion of eligibility was provided by the institution on their website or prospectus. The application forms were generally available online or through designated centers. There is a fee for applying, and the forms mentioned the instructions about the last date of application. I had to prepare for entrance exams for courses requiring them, and it is held periodically. The paper’s difficulty level may vary; some can find it a little harder, given the competitive nature in some fields of specialization . The reservation benefits were given as per the specific government order, and reservations are clearly mentioned in the application. The selection process could be more transparent to create transparency and fairness to applicants. I believe the application process could be more straightforward and less bureaucratic to make it simple for marginalized people to access.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course has a great scope in the coming future and can be useful for the next generation. There are enough faculty for every course and they provide excellent quality education. Every faculty is well educated and they have enough experience to educate every type of student. There are class tests every month and there is also an Internal exam just before the semester exam which helps you prepare for the semester exam. It will be as hard as the semester exam, so it will be difficult to pass the exam.

And this college was much nearer to my residence. When saying about my course. more explosures where given than theoretical knowledge like each year there was internship about a month.Last 2 years internship can opt for out of kerala or India.Best tutors and mentors for helping and teaching. They always does their best and make better. Moreover it was a autonomous college so that no delay in exams and even in results coming out.

Remarks:

If you are getting some good NIT and IIT then definitely CUSAT will not be in your list but If you are getting some private colleges or some state level colleges then CUSAT may be one of the option for which you can go. Academically CUSAT is good and it has 2 campuses main campus and CUCEK.
