Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Curriculum is a bit hard for the student as they are studying the legal subjects for the first time. There are questions like Case studies for the better improvement of knowledge to the legal world. The improvement should be on the semester which is a long semester for odd sem and Short semester for Even sem

Internships Opportunities

3

I'm currently in 2nd year, They haven't provided the companies list and I hope they will provide that in second year.First year, we were supposed to do in NGO's as I did in my own native in the semester break.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees For B.Com LLB in St Joseph's College of Law is 107250 for students outside Karnataka and there is no such fees hikes till this date. For students outside Karnataka, The 5 years course will be around 8 lakhs including the hostel fees. There is NO campus placements as of now because the the college is only founded in 2017.

Campus Life

2.5

For me,The Campus Life here is just good comparing to other colleges because there is no space for sports activities but they provide Indoor Basketball court and Badminton courts inside the auditorium. There are various clubs like environment clubs,Moot court club etc for the betterment of students.

Admission

The course is eligible for those who Passed 12 th STD with more than 70%.The Application form is available on their website www.sjcl.edu.in and the form is around 1200 at my time of Admission. The exams will be in 4-6 months according to the semester period and the exams are pretty tough as they are under KSLU(Karnataka State Law University) The admission process is not that hard.It was a three stage process where they conduct written exam which is multiple choice questions and after that, Two interviews.

Placement Experience:

It is better to start internship in 2nd or 3rd year for proper legal understanding before a student graduates from the college. The college will provide practical knowledge but it does not encounter proper real life situatons.

The worst they are very unfair the faculties leak the question papers for money and take money from students under the table for clearing their backlogs nd for year back. Most faculties are worthless they don't kn how to teach or explain they discriminate on the basis of ethnicity.
