Course Curriculum Overview

The course was good with good backup knowledge. Less practical knowledge and learning as basically focussed on writing the test. Yes, there are but out of the field, they are. No elective options are available.

Internships Opportunities

No internships provided by the college. Basically, no stipend provisions are given with no benefits. And no helping in getting an internship.

Placement Experience

The placements are fine up to 70%. Tata consultancy services, Zycus, Cape Gemini are the major companies that visited the major for the campus. The package is an average of rs. 3.5 lacs.

College Events

There are technical, cultural, management fest. They were up to the optimum level basically. The footfall was good and up to the level of fine. The college authority manages to take share and give a max. They could.

Affordable because of autonomous college. The details in rs. 30000/-. There are stipend is also given by college is rs. 12000/-.

No. I don't reside in a hostel. There are generally for two people, there are single rooms also. No pgs. Rs. 2000 for rent of every month. And food is optimum.

No alumni network basically connected through social sites only.

Faculty

Basically, faculty are Ph.D. of and had experience of 15 years. They are less interactive, not so good with less involvement. The standard of teaching is low.

SGSITS: JUST A BIG BRAND

Placement Experience:

At the end of 2nd year, companies like goldman sachs comes to take interns. For placements students become eligible from 6th or 7th semester. In recent years goldman sachs is the biggest recruiter, oracle and Deloitte have also recruited, other firms like tcs and infosys also come. Giants like Amazon and google have stopped visiting since few years. Last year highest package was 72 lpa to an ece student. Average lies around 8 lpa. In tech branch 70-80% students are placed. In lower branches 50-60% students are placed. My plan is also to get placed at a decent package after completion of course.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to get placed and many companies visits every year for placement and approx 60-70% students gets placement every year.As per my knowledge there is no company which has made no offer.Average package is about 6-7 lakhs per annum.My plan is to take good package from on campus placement drive.If I am unable to get this then I will try for off campus placement and I also want to do MTECH after graduating.

Campus Pl start from the 7th semester with good companies visiting for core branches popular recruiters are tafe eichers, CG power, Disa. Cognizant and Infosys for the IT roles also. The average package is up to the 6 LPA. After completing my degree I am planning To join a good company of the mechanical branch which helps me in building my career in the core engineering field.

UIY RGPV - A take or leave situation

Admission process follows standard procedure of giving JEE after 12th class and clearing JEE mains. Each department has its cutoff which usually ranges from 100 to 180 narks in jee.
