Likes

Amity garba night was a great experience and I have enjoyed a lot and there are also other programs happening throughout the year.
The sports facilities and tournaments are also there and there is amity premier league every year.
The cultural fest also known as amispark is quite happening and worth it.

Dislikes

The rules and regulations are so much and the hostel is quite strict.
The campus is 40km far from the city which is so outside
The campus is quite small and and it does not have any food stalls nearby.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is quite nice and different as compared to other universities. They have French as mandatory subject in every course which is a great thing as you will able to learn a new language and also a minor subject which will be a different subject from your course which enables you to learn from any of your interest.

Placement Experience

Placement of amity is quite decent and mostly dependent upon the students how much he/she worked for it and the faculties are super supportive and professional. As per records the placement offers is also decent and overall 75 % people get a job after their course. My plan after the degree is to pursue higher studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is like per semester you have to pay and the fee will increase 5% from previous year. And the availability of scholarship is there you'll get a scholarship and it will continue after 1st year if you score 8+ cgpa in 1st year.

Campus Life

The overall experience is quite nice and decent and the university has a decent campus and sports facilities are there and there is sports tournament and everything for students which is good thing. They celebrate festival also and club activities are also there lots of cultural program is going here all the time.The facilities and technology which they have for students in classroom is decent.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is quite nice. Here one room is shared by two people which is nice and the area of room is quite decent and the message food is okayish and the staff of hostel is also nice and cooperative. The hostel is a bit high as per people feel. Registeration process is easy .

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Admission

Admission process is quite easy the admission Department staff is friendly and really helpful.They provide you every information regarding admission and the you just have to ask them your query. Apart from that you also got scholarship here which is really very helpful and is based on your 12th marks or any entrance exam regarding your specific course. The cutoff is not any specific but basic criteria.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for sitting in placements when they reach 7th semester, placements here are pretty decent having most offers for Computer Science and similar branches. But they also provide placements for Hardware branches as well. Average package goes up to 6 lakh per annum and highest package in 2024 raised to 22 lakh per annum.

Curriculum is too hard to maintain. It's completely like school it is about from 9am to 4:30pm. With 40 min break for lunch. After all we all are becoming engeneers so we can say that it is preparing us for 9 to 5 job.

Placement Experience:

About placement i did not know very well because i am in my 2nd sem only but i discribe which i have hear about placement are thir is 3.5 to 4 LPA average packaged offered by company in our college students and from 7nd semester student become eligible for campus placements The company visted are wipro,Tcs,zee,and other atlest 40 to 50 company visted Highest package is almost 24 lakh and average packaged is 3.5 lakh 90% students getting placement i thik those how clear all sem exams My plan after getting degree to get place in good stable company with disent peckage

It was the time of pandemic when I took admission here at Amity. At the time, there was no as such crietria for taking an admission as there were very few students who applied for the B.A. Mass Communication and Journalism course. We only had 26 students in our batch so you can assume that there was no criteria as such. For taking admission, I visited Amity Raipur's website where I put my information and the admission department called me instantly as soon as I registered my contact details in their website. There was no such application during the time of admission. The exams were easy to appear for.
