Course Curriculum Overview

1.5

The course was not up to the mark. There were no separate classes to sit in, so we were asked to sit in the 1 st floor of the mechanical department. We never had any teacher who was specifically appointed for our branch. The teachers who used to teach the mechanical were asked to teach us in there free time, we didn't even have a separate HOD. Actually, we were the first batch of automobile branch, so they didn't prepare anything at all before opening up the branch no faculty, no labs, no classes, no practical. We actually got through this just by studying yourself. I don't think I need to even address the other two questions, you would have understood the situation by now. But just to give example we wanted to participate in the electric vehicle championship during 2015-16, we literally got zero support from our college and had to do everything on our own and we ended up spending 1.5 lakh.

Internships Opportunities

No college didn't provide an internship. We had to try all by ourselves to get the internship at various places and organizations. And none was paid. Instead, we had to cover all our expenses ranging from transportation, food, staying, everything and anything you could think of.

Placement Experience

1

So around 6-7 companies visited our campus. Out of which 6 were related to CS/IT and one came for mechanical ( Trident). Majority of students were asked to sit in TCS drive which selected around 238 students out of 500 approx. With a package of 3.3ctc. Nothing worth mentioning.

College Events

0.5

We had to fight to organize even minor fests which were not worth mentioning. And obviously no support from college authorities.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Our fee was 33,000. Per year. So yes it was affordable. And this included the bus fees as well. Because our college was situated on the outskirts of the city hence bus service was provided but it was very inefficient and cumbersome. And from 2nd year onwards students started coming from there own vehicle for comfort and peace.

Fees and Financial Aid

They provided scholarship bad on a reservation system, as per government of India.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

I have no idea about a hostel. But from what I heard they were very old, unhygienic and not maintained.

Faculty

0.5

We didn't even have enough teachers to teach us. And the one we had were actually seniors who passed out from neighboring colleges and had no experience in teaching and had no specialization in our branches and subjects and some of them couldn't even speak properly. It was a nightmare honestly.

As on date, the placements from Amity University Mumbai go quite well, and this is also the reason considerate students get placed after having undergone their seventh semester and beginning of eighth semester. All said and done, to everyone's concern in and outside Campus, companies like Google, Microsoft do not regularly visit Campuses
