Course Curriculum Overview

The uniqueness and easy understanding type of aspects of the curriculum influenced my decision to choose this course.The curriculum prepares in most efficient way for real world applications.Data scientist,web developer etc...are may be the areas for improvement in the teaching methods.The frequency and timing of exams are perfect and moderate.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for the b.tech course is 120000 per annum.There are lots of scholarship opportunities for students.The financial assistance is very campus employment opportunities are day by day providing various startup companies and interprenourship.

Campus Life

The campus is environment friendly and fantastic.Focusing on social aspects it is socially descent.There are various club activities improving students overall activities.The infrastructure is super specialised.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel is very efficient.The fee is 25000 per annum.The mess fee is 4000 per month. The meal and foods are very higenic.The facilities are very good.Every room has internet availablity of 24*7 .The hostel affordability is normal and better.

Admission

The admission process at NIST University typically involves filling out an application form, providing academic transcripts, letters of recommendation, and possibly sitting for an entrance exam depending on the program. The university have specific cut-off criteria based on JEE entrance exam scores. As for aspects that i didn't like, it could vary from personal preferences to administrative issues such as long wait times or unclear communication during the process.

Decent faculty and top tier placements, just follow the rules

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was very classical , too much theory oriented for placement point of view they will provide last 1 month or 2 months training for aptitude part rest for technical you have to study on your own.

Placement opportunities in my college are good, with students generally becoming eligible for campus placements from the pre-final or final year, depending on the course and company criteria. The college has an active placement celll that supports students by Organizing training sessions, resume building and also mock interviews.

from 6th sem, students are eligible almost 100 companies visited including IBM, VISA, Infosys, DE Shaw etc. Highest is 63 LPA and avg is 12-13LPA 90% placements I may consider doing MBA if I dont get very big package

It's good as many company come but the placement directly depend on your study and hard work of your 4 year and a pre placement also conduct in 3rd year where you can also get placed. For placement the student should secure 8-10 cgpa for sit in interview exam.

Life at NIST

As i didn't score much in my entrance exams I had to opt for tier 2-3 colleges from which as i am from odisha and many of my realtives and friends suggested NIST University. I did apply many other colleges manually and got offers but as NIST was close to my native place i chose this over others. My College Life.

I didn't applied in any other colleges. I joined this college because the rules and regulations and the faculty members are good. The college provides an average placement of 9 LPA to the students and placements of highest package 25 laksh in MNCs like Accenture,Tata,Texas Instruments etc. To get admission in my college a student have to clear JEE exam with a good percentile and have to book seat and then have to wait for the joining list to be released by the college once it is released the student can get admission by paying the joining fees on the joining date...Read More
