Course Curriculum Overview
Specific Aspects that influenced me was the broad core subject they had included with a vast extra courses as well. The curriculum prepares you for your higher studies like masters and is really helpful for it. Areas of improvement would be to bring in more activites and making sure every student understands what they teach. Exams are not tough and are generally easy but it solely depends on how you study.
Placement Experience
Placements are available as soon ss you start your final year in the college. Highest package that i came across would be around 10-12lpa I think the percentage of students getting placements are around 30-40%. My plans after degree is to study abroad.
Fees and Financial Aid
tution fee is a bit higher in even semester and lower in odd semester but totally round up to around 30k-40k a year and is much lesser if youre a shift I student. Complete cost would be around 1.5-2 lakhs. Theres a few scholarships available for certain group of eligible people. Campus employment helps and pays a student a normal wage but not much.
Campus Life
They conduct a huge cultural fest around february called DEEPWOODS. Its one of the hugest cultural college events in chennai. A lot of students from other college come and participate in it. Theres a wide range of books in the library, and they lend it to you for a period of time too if youre a student of mcc. Mcc focuses a lot on sports and extracurricular activities. A lot of indian football league players are from mcc. Theres a lot of clubs present inside the college in which you can join. (e.g. ncc, nss, scrub society etc)
Admission
Eligibility of the course was quite low compared to toher colleges and im in shift two which is evening shift so it was much easier to get. The application forms are posted in the offical mcc website during the time of admission and they have all the details of all the courses they offer there as well. The frequency of exams would be once in 1-2 months and two semesters a year, so two semester exams.
Other Applied Colleges
