All about MCC for life

The fees structure varies for the different streams MCC holds two stream Aided (government half funded) and Self Financed (like private). I was in Aided stream so my college annual fees were much less as compared to Self financed stream and the college academic fees gets reduce per year. First year- 25000/- Second year- 11000/- Third year- 8000/- But the Hostel and Messing fees were same for all that is around 62,000/- per year. But in Self Financed the fees payment was based on semester First Year- 30,000/- per sem Second Year- 22,500/- per sem Third Year - 12,500/- per sem And messing fee we need to pay after every month the average of 4,000/- for veg food and added amount for non-veg intake.

Madras Christian College, a personal review

The tuition fee of my department is good. As an aided student, I paid around 26000 in my first year and I paid 8000 as im entering my final year. The fees gets reduced as we move up a year. But the hostel fees are a bit much. It increases by 2000? every 2 years. I have heard of some scholarships but I have not been eligible to get one. Children of parents who are missionaries get scholarships. Sometimes they get free housing as well. Since I have always wanted to go for higher studies, I have not paid attention to any placement drives happening in the college.

MCC and its Truth

tution fee is a bit higher in even semester and lower in odd semester but totally round up to around 30k-40k a year and is much lesser if youre a shift I student. Complete cost would be around 1.5-2 lakhs. Theres a few scholarships available for certain group of eligible people. Campus employment helps and pays a student a normal wage but not much.

LOVE MCC

For every UG course, during the first year, the academic fees cost around 20000/- and during the final year, the academic fees cost around 6000/-. There are so many scholarships available for students (like government scholarships, Alumni scholarships, etc.)

Course Curriculum Overview:

The management is best in Course curriculum. The management introduced some more new courses this year. There are totally 40 departments available. Academics of my course is as on date. There is a Industrial exposure to my department. Faculties teach us in best way. They are so knowledgeable in their field. They encourage and be supportive towards the students all the time.Faculties teach us using the labs to gain a better understanding in practicals.
