My Soul my college

Likes

Need to build the roads little much bigger
Very good social experience among the other departments students it's easy to socialize
Very good teaching method they were using ppt and pratical classes to boost the students

Dislikes

The security of our college change them as soon as possible
New rules for college is too bad i need a change
Change the canteen contract as soon as possible

I just applied for 2 colleges one is Madras Christian College and another one is A M jain college, I got selected in both the college and i choose Madras Christian College because of nature beauty and the old British style architecture. The admission process is based on the percentage which you were getting in the 12th STD

The beauty of the campus is enchanting which provides an outstanding environment for research and exploration
The staffs are extremely helpful, interactive and supportive.
The college is famous for the inter - collegiate participation and activities. Also it is mandatory for each student to be a part of any of the co - curriculums such as NSS, NCC, Scrub society etc

Admission:

The fee structure is affordable for students belonging to humble background. Also anyone would be like to be a part of a college that provides such a vintage and lush green environment. The rich flora and fauna and soothing atmosphere of the campus have enthralled me . You can apply for the college through the college website by filling the application form , after which you will receive an enrollment letter from the college if you are selected. The entire admission process is completely merit - based.

Student life in Madras Christian College ,Chennai

Likes

The college environment is really nice; even though MCC has an old infrastructure,its lush green forest and scenery make up for it.
Mcc has an amazing list of its variety flora and fauna ,which includes deer ,porcupine,peacock,butterflies ,etc....
MCC also has an amazing new infrastructure called the MRF innovation park,which is a innovation incubators program for future innovators and startups

Dislikes

just like the the college the facualty is also really old in their thinking and decisions ,so old fashioned,not very modern or forward minded.
In heavy rains the beauty of mcc becomes ten times better but at the sametime MCC becomes 100 times scarier because of the risk trees falling over and other life endangering risks
MCC needs to be a little liberal on its rules and regulation especially with the management side and also CUS (the college union society } needs to be better and strong.)

Admission:

i was actually really late for admission submissions ,so there werent many options to be honest ,except ,SRM college,LOYOLA college ,Madras Christian College and Kristhu jayathi college in Bangalore,and only got selected in MCC and Kristhu Jayathi,compared to kristhu jayathi ,MCC felt better for some reason,because i know tamil fluently which gave me confidence to explore the city of chennai ,which wasnt the case the bangalore i dont know neither kanada nor hindi ,i would trapped between language barriers ,so i opted for Madras christian college ,and i think it was a good decision after all..

"Unboxing the deep dives"

Firstly the campus is so beautiful,green campus with a lot of deers and peacocks My department of zoology secured 1st position in best performing department. There are a lot of activities going on all through the year.
The teachers are very friendly and they help the weak students.
This college provides a lot of exposure such as different companies to other fields.

Dislikes

There is slight language barrier if you are coming from other places of India
College follows some tradition that I don't like

Admission:

I applied for many colleges and I got the admission call also but I chose this college in many aspects as this college is built in 1837 almost going to complete 2 decades. Secondly very beautiful and calm campus,you can learn a lot from this campus. Admission process is very smooth,you can apply to different courses offered by MCC and then according to your grades in school and colleges admissions are taken. For my course I found this college best as a zoology student we had to learn about animals and in your campus there are a lot of animals such as deer,peacock,pigs,hens,fishes etc etc We have a good college canteen which is very affordable.

All about MCC for life

Likes

First and formost the campus evironment and ambience that is made in forest with wildlife creature and old structural buildings.
The cooperative faculty members helps in building strong base theoretical in course.
Filled with enthused team spririt of each halls in inter-hall cultural and sports competitions

Dislikes

Though the teaching service is good but lack the problem solving practive in class and exam
The semester exam paper mostly based on theoretical based question

Admission:

The reviews being good with high ranking and college environment with enthused challenges tasks , competition with the MCC Traditions disciplines help me to earn the stress management . I had applied for many colleges in south as per the rank and got selected in WCC and Stella Maris and eventually got selected but during the pandemic time being online classroom i couldn't decide much and seeing its better review than others help me to choose this college

College has very good and experienced faculties.
All the infrastructure and campus amenities are great.

Admission:

I didn't applied to too many colleges.I applied to some colleges in kerala and then Madras Christian college. I got admission in MCC first and comparing to other colleges in kerala MCC ranks top so I chose this. I also wanted to get admission in Delhi University but because of the distance I myself denied going there . The admission in MCC is based on your 12th standard marks.

Better Life in college

Nature and surrounding that brings peace

Dislikes

Timings, Which is 8:30am for aided and 1:45 pm for SFS
Some times food facilities became worst.

A choose this College because it is near by to me.It is just an hour travel. And this college placed amoung top 5 in India.I didn't get any rejection from other colleges I have applied for 4 college and I have been selected for all of them and I personally choosed this college for my higher education.The admission is based on the mark and few management sets also available

The atmosphere of the college and the area.

Dislikes

Travelling from the far distance and walking a lot from the main gate.
Only one restroom for the girls and that too is far away from the department

About my College

Likes

Campus Life in our college is such a dream filled with trees ,deers and snakes.
Our college has 2 streams which helps the students to socialize with many people
Canteen foods are very affordable and healthy and tasty.

Dislikes

Campus is very big so navigation is difficult.
Ncc is only provided to aided stream students not self-financed.
To many events and too much distractions

Admission:

I didn't get rejected from any colleges I applied but I rejected the colleges . Because first I was thinking to do a professional course but after that I changed my mind becausey aim was to focus on competitive exams.
