Our college campus and College playground.
Their teachers and students have good nature.
There buildings labs facilities and lab assistant.

Dislikes

Our college car parking area in too short.
Lift problems during summer season while going to the top floor.
During rainy season water collect different different areas in college campus.

Course Curriculum Overview

During diploma I am deciding to take admission in B.tech course (mechanical engineering) A lot of applications this course we can se our daily life. After this course I have improve my nearly areas and teach their childrens free of cost. Exam level is average not so easy or difficult.

Class Size: 64Course Fees: INR 54000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fee is less than other universities so poor child can easily afford and join different courses. All over cost beginning to end is nearly 4 lakh (4 year course). P. M.M.S , pragati scholarship , kaplna chawla and many other scholarships are available for students. 4,5 companies arrive every year to give jobs for our college students.

Campus Life

I am very excited to take admission in HPTU university and after admission experience was good . In the middle of every semester all branches are organise cultural and sports event i.e Aagaz. In our college library all books are available related our studies and other. Whiteboard and projector is provided in our class romms. All sports activities are held in this campus.

Admission

Admission process in the HPTU university is average. I am a lateral entery student and take admission spot round with 70? diploma in mechanical engineering. First of all registration in hptu site and then attend counseling and got a seat at rajiv gandi engineering college nagrota .

Placement Experience:

Chandigarh-based companies or the startups, and training institutes come here. Companies like Meander Software, Bebo Technologies, Novem Control, BookingKoala - Sales Hungary, etc. companies come. Average package is 3.8 LPA, and 50% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is working in an IT company.

yes they povide placements. After 6th sem, means in 7th sem you are eligible for placement and apply for companies based on their requirements. Google, Microsoft, Adobe, Amazon and many more visits every year. Highest is the PPO of 93 lakhs and placement of 60 lakhs. around 93% are placed who registers for placements Average CTC is around in between 18 to 22 lakhs

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.
