Dislikes
- Timmings of library are rigid. Half day on saturday and closed on sundays even during exams.u
- Sports equipments are not enough as compared to number of students.
- Student room consists of triple beds which makes it kind of over crowded.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is divided into 6 semesters. The curriculum will be comprised of half Insurance subjects and later half of Management subjects.The Insurance subjects helps you get a good knowledge of each And every aspect of Insurance industry along with management subjects.Also, the exam pattern is quite simple it will be 50% percent based on internal continuos evaluation and for remaning 50% written exam will be taken.
Internships Opportunities
Internship are offered from first semester itself many insurance leaders such as Marsh TATA AIG, SBI General insurance, HDFC ERGO etc has participated in the SIP process. The highest stipend offered was 75000 rs per month. Roles offered by the company are from the claimed department ,under writing department, HR department, Brokers , Sales etc. Based on the performance in the SIP process of 2 months students are offered pre placement offers from the company.
Placement Experience
National Insurance Academy maintain a record of 100% placement since inception even this year the tradition is maintained by Academy. This year the highest package offered was 22 lpa and average is 12.5 lpac. The recruiter were the prominent leaders of insurance industry such as HDFC ERGO, Mahindra brokers, Marsh Brokers , Swiss Re And many.
Fees and Financial Aid
The course fees will be 11,00,000rs for two years with separate accomodation charges. The College has also started provided scholarship to the deserving student based on financial Status, past academic record and performance in GDPI. It's National Insurance Academy full Fee Waiver Scholarship of 10 lakhs offered covering whole course fee. The college has also increased a nominal amount of fees as compared with last year.
Campus Life
National Insurance Academy is blessed with a lush green campus with a bird sanctuary in it which help the to keep it eco friendly. Manthan is the annual fest of college where inter college competition is conducted with attractive prizes. It comprises of various event such as treasure hunt, dance competition, singing competition etc. There are also number of committee which manages the event of college such as social media committee, student welfare committee, sports committee etc where student can participate as per there interest.
Admission
For taking admission in National Insurance Academy one should be graduate from a recognised University. National Insurance Academy accepts CMAT/CAT/XAT the cutoffs will be 95/85/85 respectively for open categories and for reserved ones it will be comparatively less. After clearing cutoffs College will conduct GDPI process and interview simultaneously.I personally scored 99.64 percentile in CMAT and got short listed.
Interview Experience
The Group discuss depends on the admission policy of the College which varies every year . For 23-25 year batch there was no GDPI as the assesment process was online therefore the College took extempore round were general topic related to current affairs, abstract topic were given. This year the interview are scheduled offline so there is high chance of conducting a GD or extempore. For Example: G20.
