Think wisely before doing it

Get to know about nitte University through their website. Nitte University is ranked 65th in NIRF rank list and have A+ accredited by NAAC. So it attracts students to opt the college. Also respiratory therapy course is a well known course after the pandemic COVID 19 There should be more faculties and more modalities available for proper clinical experience in this field.

In our college we have intership facility also with 720/- stipend for each month, which is very less for one month compared to other colleges. During one year we can do internship for six months in our college and other six months in any other college also. Other colleges provide stipend more compared to our college. Mainly we have to work in ICU with patients who are in need of ventilator and make them breath easily

Initially my tuition fee was 127000/- and it got reduced by 3000/- each year it gets reduced by the same and there is rise in this policy during new admissions. Complete cost of my course is 135000/- which gets reduced by 3000/- each year, the same as tuition fee. In addition to this we have to pay the exam fee while paying the college fees. Scholarships are for our course who have PUC marks as well as college marks more than 80% and gets a financial aid of 8000/-

Our course, respiratory therapy have a very small department compared to other courses due to which there is many issues regarding celebrating any function or any college programs. Books and journals are abundantly available in the college library and is available for all the students of nitte. Sports programs are present but in every two years it will be conducted. There is no student run groups or clubs present

Hostel facility is adjustable but food is very bad as in every college. In each room there is one table, chair, cupboard and bed for each person. In each room there are three persons staying together. Meal quality and quantity is the worst thing in our hostel. Registration process was easy and broadly available for everyone.

In PUC, you should score above 60-70% to get admission in the K S Hegde Medical Academy. Application form are easily available in their website and there is 101 application fees included, dates are available in the website itself. There was no entrance exam for our course, that is respiratory therapy. We can get direct admission if seats are available. It was first come first seat facility. We had to come to college to submit our documents before admission.
