Likes

The faculty in the college is good and they are friendly in nature .
The books are issued by library in a college
There is free wifi in whole college and labs are good .

Dislikes

The college campus is too small and there is only one canteen in whole college .
The faculty is not give any break in the middle of the period they continuously taking the lecture
The washroom is so bad and the parking system is not so good .

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because i am intrested to study the computer studies and graphics . The course is not so tough that it is handle by anyone if you studied than you got good marks or CGPA . The exams are held in semester that it is having on every six months . And the exams are not so tough also the difficulty level is bot so much .

The companies which give internship is come to the collegeis Wipro tcs Capgemini and many more . The internship is get when you are in last semester . The projects are make like library management image mining and many more this project is tell by our seniors that they make .

Placement Experience

The student are eligible when there CGPA is above than 6.5 and the semester from which the placement is held is last semester . The companies which come or visited is tcs wipro capgemini tech mahindra and many more . The highest package is 4.5 lpa and the average package is 2.5 lpa . There are 90 percent of students are placed . The plans after getting this degree to become software developer and cloud computing.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is affordable and it is manage by anyone and the fees hike is not so much and the course is very valuable is a less money . The complete course fees is 148000 without examination fees and placement drive fees . The scholarship forms are available in a year and the scholarships are approx 17000 per year .

Campus Life

The annual event is havin in november which called srijan it is held by college only . The books are issued by library in a college and there is all book are having which is beneficial for our course . The labs are for practical used and labs period is daily the labs are air condition and the classrooms are also good . The sports are having in the march the students who intrested in it they take the parts in it .

Admission

The eligibility of the course is to 12 pass with 60 percent of any perspective board but it is compulsary to take the maths in this course . The application form is get from college only ,the form fees or application fees is 10000 which is cutdown in fees later the application dates is from march to april . The reservation is not having . There is not any exams held .

The faculty members are supportive and always helps students with academics and projects

Likes

I liked the Infrastructure here and the greenery and canteens well hygienic and clean .
Faculties are very supportive and well educated in their field they do encourage and support the students . They are easy to approach .
The campus life is very good here , the events etc and you will get to see various clubs here where you can participate and learn various skills like team work , time management etc.

Dislikes

Attendance criteria is strict here so that sometimes student faces some difficulty .
They can include more practical work for technical students .

Placement Experience:

Placement cell is getting better many students were placed this year with avg package of 4LPA and higest of 20 LPA . Percentage of Placed students is 60-70% in my batch because rest of all will go for masters . Companies like Chetu , tech mahindra visits here . From 5th semester students are become eligible for appling for campus placements and it is mandatory to apply those who want placement and if you once applied you have to attend the drive . They used to bring company till the students who wants placement are not placed apart from that they prepare students for placement throught PDP classes and one one to mentorship .

Good college with decent opportunities

Likes

Good faculty co ordinator and good infrastructure
Classrooms are also neat and clean as well
Library and labs are also set and best in condition

Dislikes

Sports and sports management are little busy.
Entrance Gate rule( opening & closing feels like we re in school)
Everything id good as well not any problem

Placement Experience:

Placement from ghe college are average. Student becomes eligible from final year. Few companies visits the college offering basic roles. The average package is around 4-6 lpa and some capable students get placed too.many student are also plan for higher studies or prepare for compatative exams after graduation.

Likes

Good campus environment, clean campus as well as a lot of greenary in campus
Many security gaurds present at different levels of gates and availability of a lots of cameras
Faculty is good and understanding making it easy for the students to interact with the teachers

Dislikes

75 percent is a must and they font allow students to give exam if the attendance is below 75
The students are not allowed outside the hostel premises after 9:30pm
Hostel premises are closed during main festivals like holi and diwali

Around 70–80% of students from the course get placed through campus recruitment drives every year. The average package ranges between 3–5 LPA, while the highest package can go up to 8–10 LPA depending on skills and performance. Think before you opt for this college.

Likes

The infrastructure and greenery was really good. Play grounds, running track and a sports building. There were respective charges for availing any sports facility like gym, swimming etc.
College fest was average with the college inviting well known artists like Milind Gabba, Nikita Gandhi, Raftar etc.
Girls- boys ration is good but the quality of students and environment is below average.

Dislikes

None of the teachers were highly trained to teach subject matter. The administration was always finding ways to fine students may it be for attendance or any hostel related expenses.
Hostel food was real trash. After even complaining on a regular basis it was upto no good.
There were many restrictions for hostel students like for even going out we needed passes and had to call our parents, they don't provide leave if u want to go home during the session.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are been done but they force u to sit for non core companies. Like I was doing BCA and I had to sit for slaes, marketing and in field sales persons job interviews. Mass eecruiters like infosys and wipro also came which they take like 200 to 300 students.

Real world experience with Good Projects

First i went to 2 to 3 colleges in kanpur that are PSIT, AXIS college, KIT and then my college which is Dr. Virendra Swarup Institute of Computer Studies the reason to visit these colleges it to compare the fees structure and and all other things like palcement support, library and all other factors. And when i compared the fee structure of my college with the other colleges it was less as compared to others my college fees was 150000 for 3 years and rest are like 200000, 250000 and 300000. and in my college first we have to clear the kanpur university paper then we can take admission and the cutoff for this paper is 60% and your overall academic percentage should not be less than 50%. I did not received any rejection from any colleges i rejected the colleges because of lack of amenities and outdated curriculum and when i comapred my college with others it has all updated curriculam with good labs and libraries which was not good there in other colleges i visited....Read More

I went to the PSIT for the same course but i Choose the VSICS only because the fees is low comare to PSIT , The education quality is also good and the timing of the collge is too less so thee is no wastege of time even the Placement of BCA batch is too good compare to the PSIT. My Honest Experience at VISCS

I chose this college because this college is very near from my home. Fee structure of this college is also very nice and affordable for my parents to afford. BCA placement of my college is the best in the city and this college was also recommended to me from my elder cousins and friends so that why I chose this college. If I compare my college to PSIT which is best in the city that is also in Kanpur I will say that my college is better in the BCA department as the placement of BCA in my college very good PSIT is great for the students who want to pursue B.TECH. Before applying to this college I applied for BA LLB from DU (Delhi University). But I could not go there because at that time it was needed for me to remain at my home because of some problems as I told previously. Admission process of my college is very clear and easy, you have to just show your 10th and 12th Marks and after that you have to give a simple test after which college management will tell you whether you have secured a seat or not.
