Course Curriculum Overview
In Bsc MIT ,1st year includes anatomy ,physiology and biochemistry.And along with it department subject like radiation physics and radiological positioning is there . In addition to it language like English and kannada is offered in my college and Indian constitution. After completing this course , you can engage as a radiographer or radiation technician or technologist. Or can join for master program of 2 years MSC MIT and after wards Phd or so and can become professor or lecturer in this field.
Internships Opportunities
A mandatory intership is to be done in the hospital for a year in hospital itself A stipend of nearly 1000 is paid 4th year is the internship Any kind of shortage in attendance is to be balanced by extension
Fees and Financial Aid
While I was joining per year a tution fee of 1,33,000 is required. Every year a slight increase will be there Other than this all programs ,fests conferences held in college requires contribution from students side. During the period of intership ,you are paid almost rs1000 Some scholarships are applicable like SSP
Campus Life
The highlight of everyyear is the college cultural fest which is held as a departmental competition for almost 3 days including off stage and on stage events. Annual sport meet will be there. Events like Christmas celebration and onam celebration are celebrated. Library can be used by any student. Classes are mostly held in department of hospital and college Seminars are to be done from 2nd and 3rd year
Hostel Facilities
More than 2 hostels are available for allied health courses with and without washroom attached. And it depends on the hostel fees. Weekly ,2 days offer non veg food and rest of the days are offered with veg If needed nonveg can be ordered by additional payment. Other than hostels many other pgs and houses are available at affordable rates near college
